What do u guys think is most important class. I know, obviously they are all important. I ask because I'm a little more seasoned now and I'm starting to get the hang of it but the medic class seems to feel limited now. Guys that I'm playing with seem to favor medic too, prbably cause its the most easiest to start off.

Engineer. If you can eliminate armor quickly, it's huge for your team.

Meh. Support > Engineer. You can blow shit up with C4 just as effectively, and you still get a big enough gun to be useful for suppression purposes, AND you can drop ammo.

- Support, supplies ammo, Its easier to take out tanks with C4 than a RPG or Javelin.

Engineer and Support are about the same in my book. I think you certainly need both if you want a successful team since an Engineer doing his job will always be in need of more ammo. Both can take out ground vehicles. Engineers can do it at range while Support have to be a little more clever about it by either running up to the vehicle or setting up a trap.

Yea I'm leaning towards engineer. It seems a little more balanced than the other 2. I just hate that I won't be able to heal myself now lol

Also,

If you attempt to place C4 on a tank but die before hitting the switch, since after the update, your C4 stays on there even after death/respawn. Just hit your switch and kablooie!

I'm approaching the 50 hour medal for the engineer class, after that I'm not going to run with it anymore since I have whored it so much. Probably will run with assault.

I do appreciate support guys that drop ammo because I run into no ammo situations quite a bit especially on the tighter levels.

Just ran into a stupid assault noob with Helicopter20, I was at 1% health and I was requesting a health pack over and over but he wouldn't drop one. Maybe he had defibs though :dunno:

edit: And for you guys that just picked up the game, http://www.reddit.com/r/battlefield3/ has tons of info and entertaining videos going up daily. One of the main devs for BF3 posts there regularly as well.

Defibs are the other slot. He probably had M320 or the under barrel shotgun.

The only thing that prevents the Engineer class from being OP is doing dumb noob shit and lack of ammo by yourself.

Other than that, I'd rather be Engie or Assault because I'm an M16A3 whore and Health Lunchboxes taste great.

Just went 31 and 15 as a support dude with a score of 5853 on Conquest on Canals lol. I got 3 of the anti-vehicle ribbons, so at least 9 tanks succumbed to my C4 brilliance.

While we're on the subject of highest scores, what's your guys highest round score in any game mode? Just went 27-11 with a score of 8,305 in a losing effort on Kharg Island, which is definitely my high score.

Last night I went 35-3 with a fuck ton of destroyed vehicles, captured flags, etc and my end score was 13,343.
