Steve Smith is absolutely on a mission this year.
In 6 games Steve has 33 catches for 613 yards and 4 touchdowns.
He has three straight 100 yard games, and 3 touchdowns in his last two games now. He is clearly dominating cornerbacks and proving he is the best.

Even if you don't look at his stats, Calvin Johnson isn't enough of a force to be considered a top WR this season. Especially not when he had such high expectations coming out of college.

In my mind a Top WR is a guy who you know can make the big catch or get the big Y.A.C. when u really need it, or guys that are consistent producers for their teams. Calvin Johnson is neither.

He's had a big catch in three consecutive games, and he only gets the ball thrown to him twice...

Yeah, looking again I'd put him #2 behind Andre Johnson. No one is beasting Andre, who has 110 ypg and is on pace for over 1700.

Despite his stats, I dont think hes the best. Andre Johnson is beast though..its amazing what he has done the past couple of weeks. Although anyone can run slants. Jk tho, but Id like to see him do more than run slants and intermediate. I know he is able to stretch the field and id like to see him do that consistently. Outside of that..Andre= God.

i can't help it that your d didn't do anything to stop or slow down johnson.i'm not hating on the mans skill,but i do doubt he will get 10 plus catches on a good d.the last four games were lions,bengals,dolphins,ind.three sub par secondaries.so yea when your team gets a win then you can actually show your face......untill then...........

occurred on some fucked up secondaries,i can't help it your team is the worst in the league.lions are second.that's two out of the last four games.Dolphins secondary is no better,so make it three.they play the vikings,a solid d,so we'll see if he will catch 11 passes for 145 yards every week.like i said till the bungels get a win..........

The level that Andre Johnson is playing at this season he has to be considered one of the top WR this season if he keeps up his current production. Without him Texans are 0-6 easy.

But you could also say the Texans have NO ONE on offense that needs to be accounted for except Johnson, so any defense/defensive coordinator would love that matchup.
