Giants stadium was ok, Lambau numerous times was cool. But im biased, and the new Soldier field is amazing to me. Ugly as fuck it may be. But its built to make sure everyone can see. And no matter where you sit its a great view. Not to mention ive seen at least 5 soccer games there too.

Texas Stadium I love that place so much. Cried when it blew up... I hate Cowboys stadium so much too.

Gillette Stadium is a great place to see a game IMO, although I've never been to any other NFL Stadium's. I have been to Neyland Stadium for a UT-TexTech game back in 97, amazing how many people that place holds, I believe the attendance was around 110,000. I remember being in the last row of the stadium, and walking up the stairs was like walking up a ladder. Still Great seats though, felt like you right on top of the field.

I've been to Ford Field and the Silverdome for the pros. And The Big House, Spartan Stadium and the legendary Kelly-Shorts Stadium in college.

I'd definitely recommend checking out a game at Michigan Stadium if you can, it's a lot of fun.

Michigan Stadium is a great place to see a game, but in the Big Ten, it is hard to beat the atmosphere at Camp Randall. But none can beat Notre Dame Stadium. Also, Ford Field is exceptional, as is Lucas Oil. Haven't been to too many different stadiums but those are just a few worth mentioning.

The Vet is obviously the worst of the three, but it had a certain atmosphere that's hard to explain. Always enjoyed games there ... the bathrooms, not so much.

I don't think there are words. It was a mix of passion, hate, and fear. It was not a place that gave anyone warm and funny feelings.

I say go to the older stadiums with the MOST tradition. Stadiums that have had historic teams and coaches. Ones that contain other venues, like a team HOF. Get to these stadiums before they are replaced. That way, when they have been demolished and replaced, you can say that you've actually been there.

Only ever been to Solider Field for pro football games. Went to some in the old Soldier Field and been to one in the new one. New Solider Field is much better. Not really a bad seat in the entire place.

For college I've been to game as NIU, Notre Dame, Illinois, and Northwestern. Notre Dame is by far the best. Followed by Northwestern. NIU is "meh" and Memorial Stadium in Champaign isn't really all that great but it's a solid venue.

I'd like to get to a game at Lambeau. That's really the only pro stadium I have any interest in getting to.

College wise I want to see games at:

Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Iowa, LSU, VaTech, Harvard-Yale.

Live football is dreadful. Easily the worst live sport, and probably the only sport that's better on TV. I have free season tickets to a major college football team that plays in a top ten stadium, and I have never bothered to go to a game (I give the tickets away). The Rams went to two SB's in my adult life, and I turned down chances to go to both. TV kills the flow of live football.

Only stadium I can picture enjoying it is at new texas stadium. Im pretty sure that reasoning is why they put that screen in.

Been to a number of football games never had much fun.
Unless your front row 50 yard line half the day the players are a mile away. My favorite games are cold weather snowgames....why on earth would sitting in 20 degree weather on a plastic chair be fun ?

Never tailgated so maybe theres something magical about it.

NFL games suck. Too many drunks, too many people, and way too many stoppages in play. I went to a high school game and it was over in 90 minutes. An NFL game takes 3.5 hours. Its hard for me to sit still that long at home, much less in an uncomfortable seat surround by fat, smelly men.

I like going to college games...more games during the day, fewer TV timeouts, not as many drunks inside the stadium, better tailgate scene. I've been to a lot of different stadiums, but the one that stands out is Neyland Stadium (Tennessee Vols). Great atmosphere, pretty area.

Been to Kinnick a dozen times, love it every time. Especially cause I sneak down to the front and grab an empty seat. Also went to the Edward Jones dome this season to watch Matt Ryan shit on the Rams.. but the NFL is a bitch about letting people get down front lol.

I go to every Cardinals home game, so I've been to both UofP Stadium and SunDevil Stadium multiple times. Sitting on those shitty bleachers for old Cardinals games in the 95 degree heat was super sucky, but were good times. UofP Stadium is fucking phenomanal. It's directly behind my house,too :smug:.
I've also been to the Bank Of America Stadium when i was a kid growing up in NC, and went back for the Cards playoff game during the Super Bowl run..I like being able to see the tall buildings of Charlotte from the stadium.
Been to Qualcomm Stadium, UofA's stadium, Gaylord Memorial Stadium (FUCK OU), Boone Pickens Stadium(OSU's), H.A. Chapman Stadium (Tulsa's. And my favorite of the 3 Oklahoma stadiums.), and then a handfull of Division 2 stadiums(NAU, Montana State, Appalachian State..)

NAU's stadium is screwy. What did you think of it?

I like ASU's stadium. Pretty easy to get to, easy to get tickets, good sightlines. I like it when they shoot off fireworks from the bluff.

I was there for that game as well. Both teams came in at 2-0 and Notre Dame was coming off kicking Penn State's ass the week before. The wholeplace was electric for the first quarter. Manningham and Henne lit us up. That was the "holy shit our defense is going to suck" realization game.


The only other games that I have been to where the stadium as that loud or louder was the 2002 Michigan game or the 2009 Washington game.

It's too bad that game turned into such a blowout. That stadium would have been crazy the entire game.

After going to games in Lambeau 10-15 times, going to other stadium just isn't a great experience for me.

As for what you said Angus, a lot of older people go to the games because they don't want to give up their season tickets because of the 100+ year wait to get new season tickets. The Packers are full of old tradition but since Aaron Rodgers became QB, you can definitely tell there is a younger crowd.

I remember seeing in the paper that Kenny Chesney was going to perform at the Resch Center which is across the street from Lambeau. They had trouble selling 20,000 tickets in something like 3 weeks. Once it got moved to Lambeau, the 70,000 tickets sold out in 8 hours. Not sure exactly what that says about Lambeau or Kenny Chesney, but it's pretty damn impressive.

The new TCU Bank Stadium for the Minnesota GoldenGophers was very impressive. Camp Randall for the Badgers is obviously always pretty awesome with the energized crowd and the jump around at the start of the 4th, but neither still come even close to Lambeau Field.
