Im just asking what makes them good. I'm not starting anything with anyone, but so far nobody has been able to give me a reason to like them.

The reason I like them is probably because they were huge back when I was in middle school and I liked listening to them back then.

Either you like a band or you dont, people shouldnt have to justify why they enjoy something in the first place. :smh:

I just went and saw them in Vegas. It was pretty fun.

They aren't awesome musicians by any means. Travis is pretty good. One of my favorite bands.

I know I will get flamed, but please tell me why they are so homosexual? If they are the groups of my generation, then I would rather not be associated with my generation. Nothing about them makes them a good organization. The group consists of guys in white polos, khaki shorts, and visors who all like to sodomize each other while yelling out bro. Im not going to argue the merit of their musical abilities, even on rock band they have some of the easiest songs.

They make catchy pop songs that many people like, thats their appeal.

They're not talented at all. They just have real catchy songs like someone said. I love these guys, I could listen to every one of their CDs without skipping a song.
 
Blink 182 are what they are - a three-chord band with a few catchy tunes.
Not bad, not great.
Simply a product that the kids will like, the little girls will like, etc...

I'd be lying if I said I didn't like a few of their songs, but Blink 182 is hardly revolutionary.
 
Didn't think this needed to be said, I really didn't think anyone actually admitted to liking Blink 182. I think their popularity comes down to catchiness of the songs. They have some damn catchy songs that people love to sing along to, myself included.

They are absolute shit musically however, and Hoppus' and DeLonge are terrible singers. I would never pay money to own one of their albums or to see them live, but if "What's My Age Again" or "Dammit" come on the radio, best believe I'm jamming out.

Trying to decide if they are gayer/worse than Linkin Park. I'm gonna go with not as gay as LP.
