Blink 182 is a terrible band...

Enema of the State was a great CD, But I was 13 and watched TRL so its whatev. I really didn't get into them but I would def go see them live.

Linkin Park is kinda an odd ball. Their songs are fairly simplistic musically but they just seem to know how to make things sound right.

I'm not sure what most people think of them these days. I'm more of a meh on them.

LMAO i'm sorry but these guys are not some manufactured band put together in a boy band fashion. to fucking say they have no talent at all is fucking asinine. i haven't cared for them since they released enema of the state, but come the fuck on with statements that say "they're not talented at all". I guess i forgot that playing an instrument is as easy as guitar hero makes it.

they do put on a good live show as i saw them back in 1997 when dude ranch was just released...they are just fun and thankfully don't take themselves seriously....well at least they didn't back then, and i took them for what they were...just a fun band who happened to play some poppy songs with a tinge of "punk"

Used to be a huge LP fan. Loved Hybrid Theory and Meteora was pretty good. The magnitude of their sellout was epic though. The new pop LP is very very meh. So disappointing. Not horrible but not anything I'm going out of my way to listen to.

That said, at no point in history was Blink 182 better than Linkin Park. Even with their new pop crap. Barring a couple songs, Blink 182 sucks.

Wow, how original. Did you think you were at the Green Day concert?

Blink 182 is lame. If the best thing you can say about them is "they can play musical instruments", then that should tell you something. Even the Go-Go's could play their own instruments.

Just Tom went to AVA, Travis and Mark went to +44. I enjoy listening to Blink-182, not a great band but something you can easily sing along too. Just fun music to listen to.

considering i've seen some bands that do nothing but fucking stare at their shoes and don't seem interested in even giving the audience a show of sorts i didn't they were half bad as a live act.

they weren't the best live musicians i've ever seen, but at least they tried to give an entertaining show, and also interacted and connected with their audience, which i think is a nice thing for the audience who have paid money to go see them.

and my mentioning of the fact they played instruments shows they at least have to have some talent as not everyone knows how to play instruments, let alone well enough to be signed to a recording contract. but there is more than just playing an instrument when being in a band.....i'm sure you know what i'm alluding to so i'm not going to details with. once again to say they have no talent at all is a pretty stupid statement.

Blink is easily my favorite band of all time and I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks. They were what I listened to growing up and I felt that they connected with me.
