Hillis is a very solid and unique player, but if McDaniels didn't use him last year considering the circumstances of poor RB depth, he never would have.
It also not only considerably upgrades Denver's QB position (backup), it's going to force Orton to be better.
The conditional draft picks only come into play in terms of quality if Quinn actually makes a contribution, which will only further help Denver.
Quinn is a first round talent who had garbage QB coaching and offensive schemes in Cleveland, and if McDaniels can work wonders with Cassell as well as Orton, maybe he can do something with QUinn, who ran a very similiar offense to McDaniels' in college.
