I think he's actually trying to compare Tatum Bell to Peyton Hillis. That's right he's comparing a 210 pound guy who ran a 4.34 to a 240 pound guy who ran a 4.6 forty; as if they have similar playing styles. Tatum Bell was a change of pace back at best, he couldn't run between the tackles at all. Hillis is just the opposite, he's a bruiser who punishes the defense. Tatum Bell went down if you laid a pinky finger on him, it took several tacklers to take Peyton Hillis down. And yet bcransom thinks they're the same mold of RB. Good lord is this guy ever retarded!

Not to mention several other differences, such as Bell's fumbling problem, his crappy hands etc. Compared to Hillis, whose had one career fumble and is an excellent receiving threat out of the backfield. The two players are nothing alike, and Bell is no where near Peyton's level.

Once again Bcransom makes a joke out of himself. Does he even watch NFL games? I'm surprised he hasn't posted: "This trade opens up a spot for the Broncos to sign Ladainian Tomlinson he'll be a great fit in their zone blocking scheme, which they still run. If you've been following along, which apparently you haven't been, you'd know that Mcdaniels success, or lack of, on the field, is what matters to me. Last year he had an average year, and he needs to get better (but you wouldn't know that because you aren't ever around). Despite all of his questionable moves at best, he still produced a team, on the field, that was no loess than Shanahan's last 3 years, and actually better than Shanahan + Cutler.

Shanahan + Cutler = 17-20

If you honestly think Chrissy Simms is better, you need your head examined.

You seem to garnish a lot of your respect for McDaniels for what he's done "on the Field" and even have gone as far as saying he has an "amazing football IQ." I have news for you every head coach in the NFL has an amazing work ethic and football IQ. When I read between the lines it seems like you think he's above most coaches. Going 6-0 was impressive, I'll give you that, but when you look at his body of work IMO it tells a whole other story.

#1 Try and pull the trigger on starting Pro Bowl QB and miss. (Cutler)

#2 Trade a top 15 pick for a 2nd round reach. (Smith)

#3 Talk up your new starting QB, then give up on him a year later. (Orton)

#4 Bench some of your best players because you don't like them for whatever reason. (Hillis) (Marshall)

#5 Pretty much show your DC, that turned your D around, the door because you want complete control of ever thing. (Nolan)

#6 Helm the biggest breakdown in Broncos history. The previous guy got fired for less. (2-6)

How can you say McD's season was better the Shanahan's final year... They had pretty much the same talent minus Cutler, but that was McD's choice. Everyone McD got rid of was because he didn't want them, so to say he had less talent is not a good excuse. He inherited Shanahan's team, so they started off on the same ground IMO. A 2-6 collapse ending with a divided locker room is worse then going 4-4 to end the year.

McDaniels hasn't proved shit in 12 months or so on the job. He's raised more questions then produced results on the feild... If you weren't riding his cock so hard you would realize this.
