How do you get thrown out of the back of a truck without the driver attempting to throw you from the back? Ive road in the back of a million trucks doing everything from flying down gravel roads at breakneck speeds to bouncing around mud holes and Ive never even almost been thrown out... did he attempt to jump out of the truck on his own, Or did she intentionally drive erratically to remove him from the bed of the truck? How long did he lay on the side of the road before he was discovered? Did she report the argument to officers before she attempted to flea? Did she report him falling out of the truck to try and get him medical care? Im sure all these questions will be answered when/if it goes to court...

I heard Henry's fiancee was swerving and shit when Henry got on the truck...dont know if its true though, only she does unless there were witnesses. Maybe she faces reckless driving charges, idk. I think she'll be charged with something.

But its sad to see this dude's life get cut short after he was working so hard to change it this year. RIP.

well if she gets charged with reckless driving then she surely will be charged with at least manslaughter... I think it all depends on when/if she placed the call to 911... If she left him laying on the side of the road then she deserves to rot in jail and I could give a fuck less if he beat her bloody.

This is a legit point. The report on the incident I read makes it seem that Henry jumped out of the back of the truck, FWIW. But even if she did swerve the truck to get him out of it, and didn't report him falling out of the truck...I still think she has a strong argument. If she felt threatened by him, why wouldn't she swerve the truck, and why would she drive back to him after he fell out to check on him?

yea seriously and I promise you when it goes to court all of that will be brought up, If she didn't attempt to report the assault prior to her endangering his life or at least call the law once she was in the vehicle (I don't give a shit if he got in the truck on his own and neither will the court) then the assault never happened and she won't be able to use fear as a defense (well maybe if they have a history of domestic violence against each other then the court may take that into account but this particular assault is just heresay and can't be used by either the defense or the plantiff), If she did report the assault then it is a horse of another color. If she didn't at least call 911 to say "hey he fell outta the truck maybe you guys should check it out" then she is directly responsible for his death... also Im fairly certain that legally you have to report an accident of this nature or you will be charged with fleeing the scene especially since now that scene is a murder scene...

If someone decides to jump on your car while you are driving and they fall off and die...do you really think thats the same as inviting someone into your car, then pushing them out of it while its moving and they die?

You seem to be focusing on all the wrong aspects of the incident.

well if someone jumps onto/into my vehicle while I am moving then they fall off and die Im certain that I would have to go to court to defend it and since I wouldn't be able to prove without resonable doubt that I did not invite the person into/onto my vehicle I would then be liable for it as will she... I had a friend in high school who was leaving the student parking lot one day when one of our other idiot buddies decided to jump on his hood, my friend paniced and slammed on the brakes causing the other kid to slide off and break his leg and get road rash over one side of his body, I give you two guess on who had to pay the medical bills for it, Are there any news reports providing any answers to any of the questions from my OP? Seems you are focusing on all the wrong points of my post...

People die every day, should we all just stop joking? Just because Chris Henry is a football player, doesn't mean everyone has to go into mourning.

I for one, wouldn't find myself making a joke about his death. But I also don't feel the need to be sad that a guy that jumped onto the back of a moving vehicle in an attempt to pull his girlfriend out of it, ended up dying in the process. This is the kind of stuff that typically gets on the Darwin Awards when it happens to some shmuck that isn't a celebrity.

I believe there are varying degrees on how people take jokes. Some guys have the rational that I didn’t know the guy, so why do I care and other’s have the rational of respecting the deceased. Either way, I really don’t have an issue with the jokes or guys who don’t find it funny. However, for the most part regardless of whether you know them or not jokes of the deceased are in bad taste.

If those jokes offend someone I am sorry, but I had to use them to make a point.
