And you can talk about Paul's lack of leadership all you want but I clearly remember rumors last year that Rondo was on the trading block because coaches or management were tired of how he acted. Then you had Ray Allen apologizing this year (to Paul) for his behavior.

EXACTLY! If a generally quiet dude like Rondo can push Paul's buttons just think about what a world class trash talker like Kobe or Ron Artest can do to him. Guy just opened himself up to a firing squad by acting like a baby.

so what? there was a ton of stuff leaking out that Ainge didn't like Rondo's attitude/maturity, maybe thats part of the reason why they waited to the very last minute to give him that contract.

Also, Ray has stated that he went into NO locker room to get an autographed jersey from Chris Paul for a charity event they do together, since they are both Jordan Brand. He said he never "apologized" for the Rondo incident. Said it was something made up by the media.

Why would someone make that up, and why would he admit to it? Ray Allen isn't gonna say "Yeah I went and apologized to Paul"

A lot of the things that were "said" this summer about Rondo's maturity were actually quotes from a few years ago. The media just dug the quotes up from before and used them again.

I guess the "Danny bashing Rondo" quotes can be used, but when Danny said "we love the kid" everyone just ignores it. Have you actually even read what the quotes were?

Why are you putting "Danny bashing Rondo" in parenthesis, when no one said that? It's true that some of the quotes are old but there's been stories of everyone from Tubby Smith, to Doc Rivers, to Ainge to Ray Allen and other teammates criticizing his attitude and behavior. There has to be a reason these kinds of things consistently come up and it's probably because there's truth to it.

Ok so we have Ray Allen who was actually there saying it never happened and then we have a journalist trying to make his name for himself with nothing to substantiate what he said. And you're gonna roll with the fame whore of course...

Ainge has said that Rondo is stubborn.. Rondo has acknowledged that. He has said he is a creature of habit, and doesn't like to change the way he does things, but him working with Mark Price this summer on his jumper, and him actually taking it this season have shown that he is willing to work on his game to better himself and the team.

Doc said his teammates don't like playing with him... But this quote was a year or two ago. You know what Doc HAS said about Rondo recently? He is often the best player on the floor, and will be a life long Celtic. That basically counters a negative thing that was said a few seasons ago.

Like Doc's old comment, I don't know what Tubby Smith has to do with Ainge's/Doc's comments. So Rondo wasn't the greatest team mate in college... Basically irrelevant to five years later.

Ray Allen's comment have already been sorted out... Unless you are talking about another situation where Ray has said Rondo is a bad teammate.. If you are referring to him apologizing for Rondo, that never actually happened.
