There is also a playoff in the NFL.

If you are a championship contending team shouldn't even come close to losing more than twice in a season. If you are a championship contender how many teams do you play a season that have the talent that your team has? There is such a difference between a 10-0 Florida team playing a mediocre college team than a 13-0 Saints team playing a mediocre NFL team.

What does that have to do with the games always counting? The Colts/Saints were able to take it easy in their last 2 games because they had a spot clinched. When is the last time you saw a college team rest its starters for a game because they were undefeated?

College players may not be as talented but they try they hardest every play which cant be said about pros and i respect a guy giving 110 percent every down. Guys like Kyle McCarthy isnt very talented but he gives his all and that is more respectable than a guy like Taylor Mays who has skills out the ass but not the motivation and will have a better chance at being a NFL pro.

Basically i appreciate players that arent very skilled but their hard work actually makes a difference in game. Its just more interesting to watch imo. So college.

College Football. I love how for the most part, everyone plays as if it's their last chance to play the game. I find the NFL unwatchable sometimes.

into the team... They were playing the Pats like it was a scrimmage... Like the Pats were 08 Oklahoma/Florida and they were some D-III school. They weren't even running to make plays on the ball... They were jogging up and down the field.

Exactly.

My problem is that on any given Saturday anything can happen. On any given Sunday, anything does happen, but it doesn't necessarily matter. There's still a bunch of bottom-dwellers.

The Bucs beat the Saints... Guess who's in the Super Bowl??? My Raiders got past the Eagles due to playing more offensive defense than Big Al likes to see... Guess who finished 5-11 for the second year running?

Thats what i mean, guys with NFL talent dont try there hardest and just rely on skills they have. Id much rather watch players that arent freak athletes but work hard every down because they have to.

This is no different then the guy on the NFL team that doesnt get run and busts his ass to see the field more. There are people dogging it and busting their ass at every level.

But like you said. Most college teams have 3-4 NFL guys on their roster, so they have 3-4 players that may play like a Taylor Mays and not try on every play.

However in the NFL, they are all NFL players. So they all could have been those Taylor Mays in college that didn't try. And so now they don't try their hardest in the NFL either.

But its more common in college that players give there all. 95% of college players dont have NFL talent. they need to give there all every play or they wont survive. NFL is full of guys that just rely on their 4.3 40s to make plays at times which isnt impressive to me.

College Football. The variety, the fact that great players truly stand out from the crowd, and the drama makes it all great. Plus, the rivalries are much less contrived than the pros. The media basically has to make rivalries in the NFL out of two good teams who happen to play eachother a lot. There is no logical reason that NE/Indy should be considered a rivalry and once their respective coaches/QBs are gone, no one will care about the game just like how no one cared about it for the 40 years prior.

Thats why i like it. It adds a sense of unknown to the game. You foul plays in the NBA, they will hit those free throws and thats that. Its so predictable and the mistakes that happen in college give it a more thrilling feel because anything can happen.

Its just preference really. Some like seeing guys who are the best of the best at their craft and can appreciate seeing guys that are gods. And others rather see someone not have those skills to be the best but try there hardest because they have to because they really love the sport.
