I keep hearing about how T.O. and the Giants would be a good fit from people. Hell no. The Giants already had to deal with Plax, though he helped them win. T.O. is more of a Jeremy Shockey team cancer, and that Giants learned their lesson with him. T.O. to the Giants? No. There will be takers though because of a player of his caliber. Just like how if Manny wasn't so damn expensive, there would still be takers for him even though he's a problem.

... Parcells took a bad team and brought them to the playoffs. Phillips has taken a good team and didn't even get to the playoffs this year.

Either way, bad move, IMO. Many don't like TO, but this is cutting off the nose to spite the face. They didn't help themselves at all by cutting him.

They won another 2 years after that second ousting.

Evidently that philosophy worked to the effect of a Dynasty.

If anything history shows he should have Booted Parcells instead of a freindly parting of ways.

Good move by Dallas...there are several problems with that team, like a controlling owner, a soft head coach, and a lackluster offensive coordinator, but one of the biggest problems has been team chemistry. The removal of Owens does nothing but help that situation.

Bet you either no one takes him or he signs with the Dolphins with Sparano actually being a guy that can deal with him.

Well you can throw that out the window...with Parcells running the show, Owens will never suit up for the Dolphins.

and if we got TO he would be open even more...Moss on on side, TO on the other. Safetys have to help out on each side. Welker would be wide open in the middle almost every play. If TO were to come to NE and drop the gimme the ball attitude then I would definitely welcome him on the team.

LoL, well that gimme the ball attitude is actually called the Terrell Owens attitude. It's never changed through San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Dallas...yet people still want to give this guy the benefit of the doubt. Unbelievable. I do think that the Patriots might be a good spot, though.

Either that, or scoop Maclin or Harvin in the mid first. A big WR like Roy paired with one of those speedsters would be nice.

Jerry would have to move damn near all of your relevant draft picks for the next two years in order to get into a spot high enough to take one of the top three wide receivers in the draft.

On one hand, I'd love to have him in Indy, but we don't have cap space. And I don't like the guy, so that's a negative. Not to mention he fucks with team chemistry.

The teams that don't want Terrell Owens

Terrell Owens is still technically the property of the Dallas Cowboys, so it would be against league rules for other teams to go on record as saying they are or aren't interesting in acquiring his services (though that hasn't stopped the Redskins).

ProFootballTalk.com, though, is keeping a list of teams that have made it known to them through "league sources" that they have no interest in Owens. As of right now, that list includes:

The Dallas Cowboys.
The New York Giants.
The Washington Redskins.
The Baltimore Ravens.
The San Francisco 49ers.
The Minnesota Vikings.
The Atlanta Falcons.
The Cleveland Browns.
The San Diego Chargers.
The Philadelphia Eagles.
The New York Jets.
The Tennessee Titans.
The St. Louis Rams.

And the Eagles and Dolphins are listed as teams that are expected to join the list soon. Donovan McNabb and Bill Parcells are the president and vice president of the "Terrell Owens Deserves a Giant Wedgie Club."

But there are no real surprises there, except maybe a couple of mild ones. The Redskins are always worth mentioning whenever an expensive free agent is available, and the Vikings wanted T.J. Houshmandzadeh badly, but whiffed. I guess they're only in the market for sane receivers.

I have mixed feelings on whether or not I want the Raiders to pick him up. For one he is still a good receiver who could be a solid #1. But at the same time there is a chance he will be a major distraction.

-that Romo would keep his focus and game up in winter

-that the defense keeps improving from last year, and most importantly,

-that the team stays relatively healthy, which is exactly what didn't happen last year
