Honestly its nothing like that. Lions and Raiders are two completely different organizations. If each player in the green room listed in order the teams they would want to get drafted by the most, the Raiders would be #32 on every list.

The Raiders play in the hood. The stadium is crap as well as the surrounding area. Al Davis is a cook who has lost his noodle and still thinks its the 1970's. Speed isnt everything Al. Also, Al Davis makes every coach that he has had in the past decade plus go insane putting up with his tard ass. Hes a control freak with little knowledge of todays game who wont let his coaches introduce any input or coach the way they want to.

All the above is fact and undipsuted truth. Tell me, why would you want to play for this organization?

1. The Raiders don't play in the "hood."

2. Players have enough money to live wherever they want, so even if you think the Raiders play in the "hood," it's likely that most of the Raiders players live in white collar areas.

3. The players don't play for Al Davis, despite what many think, the players are on a football team. Al Davis isn't at the team meetings or in the huddle with them. Does he have say in calling shots? Obviously, but it's not like the players are answering to Al Davis every single day like some of you make it out to be.

4. The Raiders were far from the worst team in the NFL last season. They were several teams in the league that had worse records than Oakland.

5. The Raiders are young and talented and are rebuilding. They are getting better, slowly but surely.

6. There are few teams in the NFL that have the history and tradition that the Oakland Raiders have. Tons of NFL players have grown up rooting for the Raiders and wanting to play for the Raiders because of the Raider image.

Guys like Jack Tatum, Willie Brown, Mike Haynes, Lester Hayes, Howie Long, Marcus Allen, Cliff Branch, Tim Brown, Fred Biletnikoff, Ted Hendricks, etc., etc. have created a long lasting image of what the Raiders are all about and it is still strong today despite the blunders of Al Davis and the Raiders organization.

It's right next to Oracle Arena. The area is fine. It's not ghetto or dangerous at all.

Candlestick is literally right off of the highway so it's not in the "hood," either. But it is probably the shittiest stadium in the NFL. I've been to literally dozens of Niners games and the stadium and area is far worse than the Oakland Colesium. Candlestick's parking lots are a fucking mess and the stadium is the shittiest in the NFL.

There have been many people who say that Al Davis interferes with offensive game calling in the middle of the game. Many a Raider has claimed that when the phone rings mid-game, its Crazy Al calling down to tell the coaches to do a 7 step drop streak play.

The guy is nuts, the stadium blows, the fan base is terrible, the surrounding area is the hood.....etc etc. Its no wonder that nobody except for rookies who were drafted by them or veterans at the tail end of their career play for the Raiders.

The Raiders are the worst organization in the NFL by a landslide.

How many games have you been to at the Oakland Collesium? Ive been to three. Ive been to 23 of the NFL stadiums and plan to go to them all eventually. I can honestly say, without a doubt, its the worst fan experience I have ever had.

I have had season tickets for 13 years now. I've been to several games every year of my life over the last 13 years and for a few seasons I went to every single home game.

If you came to Oakland wearing your Kansas City gear then I am glad it was the worst fan experience you have ever had. You deserved it for not knowing better.

Typical Raider fan talk there. Going to an away stadium shouldnt bring hatred from the opposing fans. There shouldnt be batteries thrown in to the visitors section. There shouldnt be beatdowns in the bathroom with idiots pissing on that person.

I travel with the Charter club which is usually around 70 strong. These are all true stories about experiences fans have had there. The mere fact that you say we should feel that way proves all my points above. Show some class Raider fans and you will get more respect.
