[PS4] DC Universe Online

Anyone else keep getting this message, not sure if it's just me or not.

I'm signed into PSN and my internet is fine.
 
Started it up again around 6am and its downloading fast as hell now.. Should be done when I get up for work today then I can play some tomorrow night when I get home.. weeeee
 
I started downloading this last night and then went to sleep. Hopefully it downloaded but probably not. Are there any other prompts or screens for downloading besides the "Checking for game assets" screen with the progress bar at the bottom? Because it was on that for several minutes and then I just turned off my tv and went to bed figuring that was the download screen. I know that was the same screen I had when I first tried downloading and after about five minutes the progress bar quickly filled up and I got a prompt saying that I didn't have enough space on my hard drive.

It wasn't that I couldn't. Two days ago it said I didn't have enough space on my hard drive. Yesterday I cleared some space and started downloading this again before I went to bed around 10:30pm EST. I'm just wondering if there are any more download screens besides the one initial one with the characters looking off into the horizon and the progress bar at the bottom. Because if there is then it wouldn't have downloaded because I didn't stick around to see.

Nope, That's the only screen. After the download finishes it automatically starts game.
 
I just read that they added 120,000 new players in the last week on the PC alone. I know the developers are sick right now.

If the early returns are any indication, DC Universe Online's free-to-play conversion is looking pretty successful. Sony Online Entertainment boss John Smedley recently tweeted that the superhero MMO picked up 120,000 new player registrations since its Tuesday evening cutover.

Smedley also said that concurrent users swelled 400% during the same time period. The one downside to the title's newfound popularity is the login queues. Earlier this year SOE consolidated all of the game's launch-day shards down to a few "megaservers" and PC Gamer reports that login queues are paying the price as a flood of F2P tire-kickers descends on Gotham City and Metropolis en masse.

Spend 5 dollars on the game and you get upgraded to premium account. It is still a free account, but it just has a few perks. Basically you buy the Green Lantern DLC and you will be premium
 
Out of all the names on this game and "PedoMan" is taken.

"CrimsonD" is now mine though... looks like a knockoff Deadpool but as an official villain.

Push to talk is enabled by default so if you have a mic push the right button to talk or go to settings and turn on open mic.

If you see the loot icon pop up make sure you press up to roll on stuff. If you don't you'll miss out on a ton of gear.

Once you hit lvl 10 the game changes a bit.

Make sure you know what you want to do before you make a character. There are 4 classes in this game: Tank, Healer, Controller, DPS or Damager.

Fire & Ice - Tanks
Mental , Gadget, Hard light - Controllers
Sorcery & Nature - Healers

All can be damagers

Controllers & Healers are always in demand for 4 man alerts & 8 man raids. Tanks have a hard time getting in and there are a ton of damagers.

Learn how to use your class as soon as you hit lvl 10. it will make the hard alerts and raids a lot easier when you hit 30.
