the City Zombie MFers are all over the place. i just did the fire hydrant quest, to them all off.....that sucked. took like 3 hours, lol. you gotta fight a good handful of those boss zombies, the ones you have throw shit at.
and i lost 2 blues, 3 greens and 1 brown weapon....now i have all crappies
the guns came in pretty handy tho....shooting the gas cans, the one boss zombie blows up when you shoot him (not the boss in the str8 jacket that runs at you)

this game is too addicting.........

I just took over the gas station to get the water set up for the church. Capped all those rebels with my pistol.

I just finished the sewer mission. That was a fucking pain in the ass lol. I died quite a few times. Up to level 17 now.

I just did this mission. What I did was use a truck and just ran all those fuckers around each hydrant, easily killed those Rammer zombies.

Also with the big zombies that punch you and knock you on your ass, use molotovs, deodorant bombs or what you can do is attack with a weapon and when you need to dodge his punch press X (A for Xbox) while holding the left analog backwards and you can quickly jump backwards and evade their strike.

just hit lvl 29.
i am really digging the co-op mode, especially with a party of 3. havent been a party of yet though. you blast right through the quests in co-ops......

there is a really cool "arena" fight doing the Laboratory Quests. pissed me off, cause it cost me tons of $$$ from dying so many times, LOL. it was much tougher than the sewers.

anyway;
the only thing i would like to able to do is the ability to change/reset the talent tree. i could use some points in the other talents.......

game is so addicting........

Act 2 item locations... (there's also a Dead Island Wiki up if you don't mind spoilers)

 

Blue Skull Location

 

When you go into the Slums in Act II, there's an "Abandoned House" warp location on the map.

Use the warp and clear the house of zombies all the way up until you find an area with three doors in a T-Junction upstairs.

All are openable.

One of the doors leads to a kitchen where you will find a Purple Skull Altar on a stove.

The other (either right or left, I can't remember) will contain a wooden cabinet with a glass face.

Break that glass and retrieve your Blue Skull.

Glazed Mod:

 

At the same T-Junction you found the Blue Skull and Purple Skull Altar, use the middle door.

Loot the entire room before you talk to Alicia.

On her bunk bed, there'll be a Glazed Mod to pick up.

Basically if you have Glue and 2 Rags saved up, you can make almost any blunt weapon modified to cause laceration damage.

just shy of lvl 30. at the prison now, ACT III.....totally radical.
MFers all over the place.
doing quest, Devils ?something?....., need to find Cell B in Armory.

it would be easier to do Co-Op in here. lots of stuff going on and its a complete maze trying to find it......

The game scales to you level as you play so even if you don't do every single side mission, you should be fine.

Just find a buddy and go to town

hit Level 31 and now i finished........

not going to spoil it for everyone but i will tell you know the last Act - Prison cell quests are lots of fun, radical and challenging.

the ending was not disappointing but i was expecting something else. its kinda like the last whole Act in the Prison was the ending......

again, i aint gonna spoil it for you guys

Other than the fact that there are zombies, it's not like it. This game is open world, and pretty RPGish. But definitely worth getting.

i am either going to run through with Sam B again or level another character, like Purna or the other girl Xian......

Waaaay better than Dead Rising 2 IMO. I thought that game was crap.

yah,
i noticed some buggy stuff with some of the game play. not with saves but with some quests. it got really confused at times, not kwowing where to go and which one to do when i manually selected a sidequest......

did you finish it with one character yet or you leveling them all to get the Achieve??

As of now, I'm trying to figure out how to get my Purna save to work without thinking I need to delete every save I have, plus the Game Data.

There's no Game Data DLing you have to do (it's all off the disc, plus patches) so it's like a 34 KB file.

As for the Quests, I've only noticed that the bug out when it comes to playing Co-Op.

I know you can set waypoints on the map manually as well as just selecting the Mission you want to complete with "X" (probably the same for XBox 360); each will leave a dotted path for you to follow on your HUD at the bottom right of your screen.

And as for the Character leveling, I'm just getting all of them through Act 1 (if I can get Purna to work first) and either finishing the game with Purna (if I can get the save to work) or Logan.

Logan on Lvl 50 must be The Shit if I'm reading his Fury Tree right.
