And the Cavs beat the Lakers and Rondo has Kobe in his top MVP tier. The Heat have also lost to the Pacers and the Clippers this year. Oh yeah and the Bulls beat them last month...and play them tonight. Every team will have bad losses during the year. Hell the 72 win Bulls team lost a game mid season to the Knicks by like 32 points.

Also Rose had 32 last night. 19 in the 4th. Still a great game by him.

Generally the voters go for the best player on the team with the best record (right now the Spurs don't have a dynamic enough player) or the guy that lifts his team through spectacular play and performances, which is Derrick Rose this year.

Boozer is obviously a good player but guess what? Rose was putting up virtually the same stat line without Boozer. And if we are basing it off best player, then team records are out the door as it's possible for the best player to play on a bad team. So the Bull sbeing 9-6 without Boozer, using your logic, is a moot point.

James decrease in stats, and Rose's improvement, and Rose still isn't better than LeBron... So... Yeah. As far as stats go Rose isn't on LeBron's level. As far as talent, he isn't, and as far as team success, he isn't. The Bulls didn't have a turnaround season. Going from being .500 to being better than .500 isn't a turnaround, it's an improvement.

Yeah they are merely "better than .500". They are 20 fucking games over .500 and two or so games back of the Miami Heat/Celtics. Right now it's impossible for the Heat to finish more than 20 games better than they did last season. The Bulls still can.

Then again the Bulls record, according you shouldn't matter so it doesn't matter if they have a turnaround season or not so putting down anything anyone said about the Bulls record or a turnaround season shouldn't have even gotten a response from you.

Of course I can. The Cavaliers went from being the first seed 2 years in a row, to being a complete shit show. 99% of the reason is because LeBron left. The Bulls went from being a .500 team to a 38 win team so far.

What I meant by the bolded part is how well the team is playing. Not the player individually. I base the MVP off of how well the player is playing. LeBron is easily playing as well as Rose. Better in my opinion.

Your entire argument is beyond flawed because if you believe Lebron is the best player in the NBA it doesn't have to mean that he is playing the best. Players have down years, stretches, etc. If you believe Lebron is the MVP, fine. I disagree but to not even have Rose in your Top 5 is retarded. Hell, I'd argue if Rose isn't in your Top 3 you might seriously need to go in for a CAT scan. But whatever.

Don't start in with this convoluted argument that you give the MVP to the best player and Lebron is basically the MVP until someone comes along and unseats him. It's a seasonal award. Lebron may be the best player in the NBA talent wise, perhaps even stats wise most of his seasons, but that doesn't mean he's the MVP every single year. Players rise and fall and some step up and have great seasons like Rose is this season and while James may be the "better player" that doesn't make him the MVP of the league. That's not the way the award is voted on. If it were Jordan would have 3-4 more trophies in the case.

Durant was the preseason favorite this year but that doesn't mean people thought he was a better all around player than James. Just that Durant would be the MVP of the league. You're trying to think about it with an open mind, but the problem is your mind is so open your brain fell out.
