Just wondering, and this is in no way a stab at you, but how did you become an Iggles fan?

I started going to games in Philly with some friends in 2000. I just sorta adopted them because we were going to so many games.
I was a Buffalo Bills' fan growing up (and still love the Bills), but I go to way more Birds' games and am way more interested in them now.
Whenever we go down for games, the Philly fans laugh when I tell them this. They don't understand having an AFC and NFC team.
Bills' fans are the same.

After the 2002 loss to Tampa Bay at the Vet (a game I went to), my heart bleeds green on Sunday. Very, very depressing day.

Philly is about a 7-hour drive from my house. Three of us go every so often, make a weekend out of it.
Tailgating is great fun. Philly fans are great.

I remember my first game - I wasn't an Eagles' fan. We were chatting with other tailgaters and they couldn't believe we drove from Toronto. Mike - a diehard Eagles' guy from day one - told them I was a Bills' fan. One guy laughed and said "I don't care, they're not division."
We've had a ton of great tailgates there.

This is my feeling too. The big plays are masking the immaturity ... and one day the immaturity will mask the big plays.

He's a headache? For who... secondaries? If Jeremy Maclin is what you call exciting, Desean Jackson must be an orgasm. I don't see how Desean Jackson isn't caring. The Eagles are 9-4, he just took a shit on the Cowboys' chest for 200+ yards, and he is your vertical and speed threat. The moment he touches the ball, it's a problem. He's perfect for the Eagles. You don't let him get away.

There are plenty of players out there who complain a little about a new contract, get it and continue to perfrom at a stellar level. They are the vast majority.

I don't get the concern, he's a bit of a dolt, but he's never been in trouble with the law to my knowledge. I've never seen him take a play off, and he is probably the fastest player in the league. He doesn't drop the ball much either. As W2B said, he's an all or nothing player, but at 24 years old you've got to imagine there will be plenty more all before there is nothing. I try to conjure up what the concerns are and there just aren't enough to even justify a genuine consideration towards trading him from anyone other than those who are trying to whip up conversation or show how much they hate diva football players.

No one stretches the field like DJax. He attracted enough attention for a 3 week stretch where Maclin benefited from the the coverage he was getting. Then when they started covering Maclin too, DJax went off again.

He adds an incomparable element to our offense. Yea he's a goof, makes weird comments, acts like an idiot in the EZ but at the same time you see him with his team mates and he's one of the first ones out there to congratulate a fellow player on a good play and you don't hear one complaint from a fellow teammate about his locker room presence.

He actually reminds me of Steve Smith from the Panthers, he's crazy as shit, but no one in the locker room questions his commitment to the team no matter what the contract situation may be.

Keep him.......you would have to be Josh McDaniels to trade him away.
