Hey glen, if Tebow can get credit for all the things the rest of the team does (ie keeping the game close so that tebow can trow up a prayer in the 4th) then I think its only fair if he's blamed for Denvers first half failures...especially when he's only completed 30% of his passes. Hell, Alex Smith threw for almost 300 yards tonight and he's got tiny hands and was playing against Breesus. Oh, and I'm glad the Niners have Smith at QB, I'd take him over Tebow any day regardless of what kind of "leader of men" he is

But at the same time, you are making a strawman argument. Nobody here was saying he was a future SB winner. What the Tebow supporters have been saying, is that he is a competent NFL starter who is clearly better for his team than Orton. And quite frankly, it's pretty obvious that this opinion turned out to be accurate.

If you want to play "I told you so", it should be directed towards the 'Tebow is terrible' crowd, who have clearly been proven wrong over the last few months. He took a 1-4 team to the playoffs, and won a round. It's time to cut losses and admit he brings something to the table, or honestly, you just look ridiculous.

He had a very good season and proved a lot of people wrong. A playoff blowout after helping the team overachieve in the first place doesn't change that.

How many times do I have to tell you stats have 0 to do with it? You can see he sucks with your own 2 eyes, the stats are just icing on the cake. He is a QB so you judge him as such.

while that is true...what city wouldn't take there chances making the playoffs almost every year. Everyone says....once you're in, anything can happen.

Denver will never go anywhere unless they find another QB or Tebow learns how to throw a pass. Right now, he is a pretty terrible QB.

He's not terrible. He's fine in that system. Lazy analysis to grade him as a dropback passer when that's not his game.

Idk if he's the long term answer, probably not, but he's better than a lot of people thought.
 
If it wasnt W2B I wouldnt be as baffled. It makes 0 sense coming from him considering the arguments/discussions we had about "other" QBs :yao: Tebow sucks, he is a NFL QB and will be judged as such. That gimmick triple option offense isnt conducive to long term success. This whole "He took his team to the playoffs" argument is asinine. They won a shit division with an 8-8 record, that wont happen every season.
