1) I have listen to B&B almost every day, and while they do have a tendency to go off-track with inside jokes, they have a tremendous amount of sports talk because, well, they are a sports radio station.
I can't tell you what to like and what not to like, but to say Terry Boers and Dan Bernstein "have a tendency to go off-track with inside jokes" is like saying John Daly has a tendency to take a drink every now and then. For a radio crew to tell inside jokes is highly unprofessional, because they lose the audience...Boers & Bernstein base their entire show on inside jokes. Its ridiculous.
Its difficult to argue with your logic-based assessment that Boers & Bernstein have a tremendous amount of sports talk because 'they are a sports radio station'. First, they are a radio show, not the entire station. Second, we can use your same logic path and say "Jay Fiedler is tremendous at passing the football because, well, he is a quarterback".
I would be hard-pressed to give many examples of a 'tremendous amount of sports talk' being done on ANY sports radio show. Mac, Jurko & Harry never offered much insight into the sporting world, but at least they weren't as annoying as hell like Boers & Bernstein. I guess a person could actually enjoy listening to Boers & Bernstein, but its factually incorrect to claim that those two 'dweebs' talk about sports all the time.
2) When was B&B ever canceled? They have been moved around a bit to better-compete in the ratings, but I don't remember them ever being canceled. And if you are talking about some other show Bernstein did before B&B, the fate of that show is immaterial. Why? That show wasn't the Boers and Bernstein Show.
I assumed it was cancelled for the last few years, but I guess they were still on the air...just not during the morning or evening commute times (i.e. the times when people listen to the radio). LOL at 'moved around a bit to better-compete in the ratings'...what are you talking about?
