Soloing Nightmare difficulty could be comparable to Demon's Souls... then again, DS will at least give you a shot to learn from your mistakes as opposed to DA:O forcing you to memorize cheesy programming.

i think you will get it when you play the retail version

If it's anything like the Dead Space 2 DLC you get just for signing into EA's online servers.

They keep a record of who DL'd the demo and when you play DAII, it shows up in your inventory or is available to get when you enable that "Black Emporium" thing on a new copy of the game.

The first game basically sets up the world and the characters that populate it.

As "The Warden," you play as a cipher that you use to interact with said subjects (at least in the small view of "Holy shit, the world is gonna end, WTF am I gonna do?!").

Even if you play separate races and/or classes, you're still the same "person" in the end.

I'd rather get the chance to play a Qunari without having to switch to Sten in my party on DA:O.

its no different than origins. instead of the warden its now the champion, named hawke. At least he will have a voice.

personally i am not a fan of the suggestive dialog. Where they give you a 3 word blurb and the character says something that was based on that blurb. But just expands on it. I also dont like the upper right being "good" and the lower right being "bad". It cheapens the point of karma by telling u in advance that what your saying is a good or bad thing.

Give me 4 or 5 dialog choices and allow me to pick the one i feel is best and suffer the consequences in karma after

this is what makes these games linear. they are providing the illusion of choices but in reality the path is clearly marked. This would be ok if as a player u didnt already know which way the path is going to go

plus i wish they would have made it open world. this and the previous game has this large map of a world with beautiful vistas that u will never get to explore

Most of the dialogue ends up as either reworded conversations (a sentence will be swapped with another one, be said earlier or later, or not at all) or with whoever you're talking to going off because you said some horrendous shit to them.

That or if you go on a murdering spree for no reason because you refused to put any points into your Coercion stat... :shifty:
