Well, his argument is that Tony Romo is a better ''passer.'' But then places Drew Brees ahead of Kurt Warner, even though Kurt Warner is clearly the better ''passer.'' I even posted the stats to prove it. He even went as far as using Tony Romo's post third quarter ability, which is impressive, yet has one of the worst post 3rd quarter quarterbacks in the NFL, on his top 5.

This list would have been more acceptable, if not for the god awful analysis.

Look who Warner passes it to. Issac Bruce, Torry Holt, Marshall Faulk, Larry Fitz, Anquan Boldin, Steve Breaston, etc. Compare that to Marques Colston, Lance Moore, etc.

Brad Johnson had a solid NFL career. He was well above .500, has a superbowl ring, had a .500 postseason record. So, who am I to say he's not better than Drew Brees?

When Tom Brady had 3 rings, and Manning had none I think it was still obvious to a lot of people that Manning was still a better QB. Talent wise.

I don't see why people can't look at Drew Brees in a similar fashion towards other QBs. The argument is practically the same.

The argument is not the same at all .... Manning led his team to playoffs after playoffs . 6 straight AFC Souths if I am not mistaken . Drew Brees was 30-28 in SD? seriously? Them San Diego teams had as much if not more talent that the Colts had in the early Manning days . Then he goes to NO , and is still struggling to make the playoffs at all in some seasons nevermind win his own divison . I would also remind you that the Colts run D was WAYYYYYYYYYY worse than anything Brees has ever had to put up with in the sb season , I know they turned it round in the playoffs right? Yeah Manning still took that horrible D to an AFC South title .

How much does Brees need to succeed? Comparing Mannings situation of not winning a sb for a long time to Brees is comical .

At least Manning got his team in position every year .... Drew Brees barely got off the start line in some seasons (see last season)

And if we want to talk talent then it's still a no contest over there careers . Manning is one of the most gifted qbs to enter the NFL in a LONG time ..... three mvps , 10 pro bowls , most tds in a single season record (at one point) , highest season passer rating ever

The bold was the part I thought was the funniest. Plus the Saints D has always been a bottom 5 D in the league, and the NFC South has been consistently a top 4 division in the NFL. You're acting like it's an easy task for a QB to do, carry a crappy team to win the AFC South. Without Brees the Saints are a 4 win max team.

Ok now I'm wondering if you even read anything I said...Manning is my #1 QB in the league, I have him above Brees, I'm not arguing that. I'm just saying to have Brees any lower than 3 or 4 is just stupid. Especially at 8. And especially making a case for Brad Johnson over him.

You said why can't Brees be seen as a real top talent without a superbowl like what people thought of Manning . That comes across (wether you mean it or not) as comparing the two situations .

I don't find what is funniest about the Chargers comments . Some of the Chargers teams Brees was on did have as much if not more talent than the early manning Indy teams . I won't argue because I am willing to bet you don't even know who was on them Colts teams . The Colts never had a rush attack like Brees had in SD , they never had a D like he had (apart from the playoffs) . All we had was better o-line and wrs , which people have already said doesn't auto win you games .

Why can Manning win divisions with horrible ds but Brees going .500 is acceptble? Why can Manning take the 3rd worst rush attack in the NFL last season on a 9 game win streak but Brees cant go above .500?

If you think Brees is 8-4/3 in the QB rankings I can see an argument , but comparing his situation to Mannings has no leg to stand on in my opinion .
