Still too early to write off the Heat. As long as the spectre of David Stern is looming over this series, anything can happen. I view Game 6 as being the must win game of the series, because I have a feeling that a game 7 in Miami will resemble a Lakers-Kings game from a few years ago.

May be too early but Boston has the home court advantage in a headlock. Miami has a hard time competing with them on their floor. Hope the refs dont fuck them over, Im starting to not like Wade. Just about every time he drives to the basket he expects a whistle.

And what does he do? Takes one move to right and then goes for the fadeaway 18fter.

What more do you need? Rondo isnt a premier defender and LBJ strength isnt his jumpshot but rather his size, speed, and body control on inside shots. Someone said he should have gotten it while posting up which would be ok, if anything LBJ should have gotten it closer to the basket say 15 ft so he only needs a dribble or 2 to get into his area where he excels at.

I agree with you that he should have tried to get a closer shot, lets not get ahead of ourselves and say Rondo's not a good defensive point guard. He's, imo, a top 3 defensive point guard. Still, LeBron should have been able to get by him due to the mismatch.

Agreed 100% that LeBron should've gotten a better look, hell, take that boy to the rim and draw contact.. he knows hes getting the call 90% of the time, even in the crunch.

Lebron's advantage over Rondo in this situation is his size/strength which is somewhat negated by the fact that in this end of game situation Lebron doesn't really have the option of backing him down. Lebron gets by Rondo the Celtics are going to collapse on defense and James will kick out. You don't think a great defensive team like Boston doesn't understand how to defend an end of game ISO situation and collapse on the ball handler forcing a kick out? Think for like 3 seconds.
