Did any of you watch the game? Howard had a carrer high in FTs attempted because every time he was under the hoop Cle would hack. Both Sideshow Bob and Big Z fouled out because they were fouling Howard all night. Of course you're all of a sudden going to have a jump in fouls when your coach tells you to foul Howard ever time he touches the ball under the hoop. It had nothing to do with the refs and everything to do with Mike Brown's coaching style.

Lebron is great but his team just blows. Orlando should be going for the sweep tomorrow night. Cleveland will be lucky to extend it to Game 6 at this point.

They've lost a game by one point, won a game at the buzzer, and let one slip away late.

I just think it's bullshit that the NBA is so blatantly biased towards it's stars. NOBODY on the Magic could have tripped over their own feet on the other end and gotten a foul call while down two with half a second left. NOBODY. And everyone knows it.

Then, Howard would have crammed that down Cleveland's throat but Varejao on a play that had WAY more contact than LeBron falling all over himself got to carry Howard out of bounds with no call, just so LeBron would have another chance to win the game in overtime. Dwight wouldn't have had to hook Varejao's arm if he wasn't being carried out of bounds like a WR going for a jump ball over a DB on the sideline.

They would have done the same thing with Kobe. They would have done the same thing with Wade. That's why I'm annoyed as fuck.

The NBA is only slightly less fixed than the WWE.

Watch how screwed Denver gets in game 5. Should be, as the kids say, sick.

NBA will do nothing short of blocking the basket holes to get Cleveland/L.A.

Sorry, it's just annoying as hell when just because of who you are a fan of is the only reason you don't like something.

I hate the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, it must be because I'm a Tigers fan. (Actually, it's because I hate teams trying to buy championships by going above and beyond the salary cap and love it when they still fail)

I hate the Patriots (with Tom Brady), it must be because I'm a Lions fan (and Michigan fan?) (Actually I just hate seeing them on CBS every god damn week).

I hate the Ducks and Penguins, it must be because I'm a Red Wings fan. (Actually I hate them because they're the two dirtiest teams in the NHL in terms of taking cheap shots and letting their heads get the best of them in pressure situations, they make a bad name for the game.)

I hate the Cavs, LeBron, Kobe, the Lakers, it must be because I'm a Pistons fan. (Actually I hate them because of the calls they get just because of who they are, having them plastered all over my TV and internet where I CAN'T get away from them, etc.)

I didn't want to but lets do this.

First bolded part: There is no salary cap is baseball, therefore teams cannot go above and beyond it. Also you are a hypocrite. Detroit is 5th in baseball salaries and besides the Yanks (who are far above any other team) they are 20 million behind the Mets and Cubs and only 7 mil behind the Red Sox. FAIL

Second bolded part: every team has their dirty players on it. So lol at you hating on two teams are being dirty. The Penguins do not give the NHL a bad name, in fact Sidney Crosby is the face of the NHL and puts more people into the seats than the Penguins would turn away.

Third bolded part: You act like Lebron, Kobe and Wade get every single call when that is just not true. Yes they get more calls than the average player but they also have the ball in their hand much more than any other player on the court. Lebron is too big and too strong and once he gets going to the hoop you are going to let him score or foul him. You can get away from them, nobody is FORCING you to watch them on tv. They are on tv so much because they are so marketable. Again, they bring fans into the seats and any business person with half a brain is going to run with that.

So yes, you do hate all of these teams/players because you are a Detroit fan.

Thank you for posting that so I didn't have to. After Detroit tasted the world series in 06 with our homegrown talent who put it together finally, we went apeshit and tried to be like the Yankees. Now we're slowly going back to that 2006 formula.
