so your getting 5 more turnovers! Go Favre. I really hope he gets injured on the first play of the season and is out the rest of the season. i hate this guy.I used to respect him, hang them up your washed up.

So many factors that this is moot, here are imo 2 big ones


Favre threw 7 INTs in the last 3 games when he was injured and was playing in outside

Gus Ferrote (sp?) isn't even on the roster anymore and he was the starter last year

I think the fact that I don't watch ESPN and instead watch the NFL Network makes me less 'angry/hateful' towards Favre. I'm glad he's back, can't wait to see him play, never paid attention to the media who concocts 80% of the stories/things Favre is getting blamed for 'attention whoring' anyway. So game on!

Part of me wonders if this latest bitch move by Favre was pushed forward because of Vick's signing in Philadelphia. Favre probably thought "wow if the dog killer is getting all this attention.. what can I get?!"

Anyway I officially hate him. And I would love to see the Packers beat the shit out of them this year.

I don't think that MV had anything to do with (JMO). I think this was planned from the start. Skip 2-days and be handed a starting job.

He also had 6 TD's in one game, which skews the TD number a tad.

It's very possible Minny will see the outside during the playoffs. Maybe not, but I think it's likely.

That would mean Favre would miss some games.....Favre doesn't miss games, as his ego won't allow it.

The Vikings won't be in the playoffs nor will they be serious contenders if they do make it. Brett Favre has sucked the latter half of the season for the last few years. He'll tank at some point in the season, but the good news about it they at least have AP to run ragged to keep them afloat. This is a lateral move at best. I definitely understand why Cris Carter was upset when he found out. It's a fucked up situation for the other QBs.

In '07 Favre went 13-3 and had one of if not the best statistical playoff game of his career against the Seahawks at home in the snow. Last year he looked just as good as '07 up until the shoulder injury in week 11. Hate him all you want but let's keep the record straight.
