This tactic is brilliant. I played Man U in my final pre-season friendly and took a 3-1 win. Dominated possession (60%) and chances, so it wasn't a completely fluke. Just a friendly, but still a nice win to get.

First competitive match was against FC Twente for the Super Cup. Dominant 5-1 with nearly 70% possession.

This is the kind of tactic I love but can never seem to pull off. The shape looks a touch goofy, but it works wonderfully. Players always move in triangles and play little tic-tac passes - so you went up with tons of passes completed per match. Then, because Creative Freedom is high, a player will randomly take off on a slalom run through a couple defenders for a nice goal or assist. It would suit Arsenal amazingly well, which is tempting...

So in my Fulham save I notice that a Hungarian tycoon took over League 2 club Bury. I added a new manager to see what kind of money they're tossing around, 18.5 million in transfer kitty! For a fucking League 2 side!

Might have to save this and play it later using Bury.

Now that could be fun. Be tough tough to attract quality players, though. Kinda like playing with Shakhtar.

Went back to my Everton save and noticed that 35 year old Didier Drogba was on the transfer list for $275K. He will now be a Toffee come January. He'll be nothing more than back up to Bojan and Altidore, unless they get injured.

My World Cup group with Uruguay is Turkey, Morocco, and Canada. Should be an easy group to get three wins in.

Toughest group looks to be England, Portugal, Cameroon and then Uzbekistan or the Italy, Holland, Japan, and Colombia group.

Paid £1.4 million to sign Fernando from Bourdeaux for the year. Not as good as Parker, but a pretty good like for like replacement.

2 wins so far, 1-0 over Fulham at home and 1-0 at the Emirates against Arsenal. Cesc was sent off in the 10th, and we slowly turned the screw until a Demba Ba shot was deflected in by Sagna

Xavi was 2 mil! Spent the most on Neymar, Rodwell, and Shawcross. While thanks to Shitty, Johnson, Richards were dirt cheap.

Ah alright. I've never even really looked at Africa all that much, I'll have to send some scouts there.

Lerner gave me an extra £23m to spend on transfers after my good start to the season domestically, and dominance in the Europa League.

Joining the club in January are:

Douglas Costa from Shakhtar
Jan Vertonghen from Ajax

Those two took up the transfer budget, but then I got the board to sign Eren Derdiyok from Leverkusen for me.

As for the season, we're in mid-December. We breezed through the group stages of the Europa League, and have drawn Stuttgart, with the winner playing PSG or Dortmund.

Domestically, we're 8th in the table with 9 wins, 1 draw, and 7 losses. We're an efficient offensive side (3rd in GF at 31), but we're extremely leaky defensively, (18th in GA at 32). I want to blame a good chunk of that on James Collins/Ciaran Clark at centreback. Dunne performs consistently, but those two are pretty bad. Hopefully Vertonghen helps to solidify that spot. Also of note is that out of those 32 goals conceded, 14 have come against Man U/Chelsea/Arsenal/Tottenham, and 6 more were scored by Sunderland. (we got murdered by Sunderland's pacy strikers). That leaves 12 conceded in the other 12 games.

I have every intention of starting Derdiyok as my target man once he arrives, as well Heskey is Heskey. I've been using Gabby as my target man with only moderate success. I feel both him and Bent work best as the poacher. Speaking of Gabby and Bent, they have 9 and 8 goals respectively. Heskey has 4. Ashley Young has 4, and 7 assists. He's tied with Marc Albrighton for team lead in assists.

He was my first piece of business. He got me 10 Mil and went to Inter. I spent that on Gary Cahill, and he has done me well.

This was interesting.

Last year in March 2011, Villa fired Houllier and hired Moyes from Everton. Everton then turned around and hired O'Neil. In October of 2011, Everton fired O'Neil, and then hired Moyes from Villa. I guess Moyes regretted his decision.

Exact same thing happened in my game.
