Yes there is a difference between a 3-4 DE and a 4-3 DE, but that doesn't make up for the fact that Andre is best when he is right on the line. He is best at rushing the QB and getting into the backfield. If you watched him while he was in WAS, he's always one of the first players in the backfield. He can disrupt the interior line just as well as anybody.
lol @ him gaining 50 pounds. there's no way he gains 50 pounds of muscle before next season and if you want him to gain 50 pounds of fat you might as well move him to OL.
He's already good at what he does.. Why change it? Defensive Line was probably the only thing on the Redskins that did not need to be touched, they had the perfect trio of Carter/Haynesworth/Daniels going into next year. If any part of defense should be changed, it should be the pass defense considering we were one of the last ranked pass defenses in the league last year and gave up more 20+ yard pass plays than any team in the league.
