Can anyone who has done a race modification tell me if it gives you any options while you are doing it? I mean like paint options or number options? The only plan it shows me is to have my car painted white.......so I was wondering once I click install mods, will it ask me what color and blah blah blah....

You can change the number in your garage after you do the RM, and every RM'ed car has a different paint job. My RM'ed ZR1 uses the color that it was painted before the RM on the front half of the car like this:

Sweet......just tried it out.....works well. Also found out if you quit the game w/o backin out to the GT mode menu, then any RM mods or paint mods you do don't get saved. Good way to see what your paint job will look like :)

GTR Spec V 09 with every mod added within the hp/weight limit. It is tough, it took me quite a few tries, could only get within 3 seconds but finally I pretty much nailed it every lap and won by 7 seconds.

You can't run into any cars because they slow you down too much, and it helps if you get to draft a few cars down the straightaway.

I'm running my Skyline and doing... meh... I'm fucking up myself really bumping a lot into walls and whatnot, finished 4th a bunch of times in a row...


And for the record blade... I had no clue those races gave you SP and stuff lol

I am happy with 2nd..........LOL........I am ready to move on, but I loved the setup of your car, so I am gonna get the 07 GTR and do the same setup.

Man this second historic car race is a bear......the first one i beat by .034 with the RM Z28, but this second one I can't catch that dumb Toyota 2J Race car.

There are but they are in the Expert series and I'm assuming you haven't gotten that far yet.

Just unlocked them... wow... I'm making a ton of money on the seasonal events right now. I just go for at least 2nd place. If you buy the car needed for them and tune it to the specifications than you still net well over 100,000 credits in almost all of them just for 2nd place. I finished first in the Mini Cooper, 2nd in SS5, 2nd in the '06 Mustang, 2nd in the RX-7 and I'm about to do the Ford Focus race now. It's a much better investment then I thought it would be.

I'm getting the hang of tuning much better by just playing around with it. Still looking for the '03 Audi S4 tho :( Got the '98 at least

lol yeah typo... I am in a championship series right now so can't go check again, but I know its 3-4 HP under the requirements for that race... maybe 390? Yeah 390 I just checked in the notebook I wrote it down in. I hate having a nicer bigger TV in my living room now I need to write stuff and bring it into my bedroom lol but yeah its 390 HP
