The GT-R? did you do something wrong in the set-up? the way I got mine its fuckin nasty thing turns great. Maybe you have some assists on or something

Brake really late and hard. Don't be scared to sideswipe a car or two. Stay off the walls. Pretty much, you will catch the leader on the last few turns. From there, you will need to block the SOB...

I am a reckless driver... With that said, I hit the walls a couple times. I made up must of my time coming off the long straight into the tunnel (brake late and hard, almost out of control. Think I could keep it at 70ish MPH) and than the long turn (keep it at 80ish MPH or so.. no braking).

Yeah, but they are all standard models, and you have to keep checking the used dealership to see if one pops up

I beat this race last night. The only thing I changed was the top speed (took it down 4 notches IRRC). Took me 4 or so tries.

I wish I knew how to set up my car (besides top speed setting lol). You are the fucking man!

Was the setup your own or did you use someone else's? If you have any more for the other races (season special) I would be very grateful!

I had one in the garage and just played around with the settings pilfered from the Apex book and guide book on the game.
By no means am I the one the look for when it comes to tuning.

Well, the books don't give you the settings, they just explain how the settings affect the car. Wish they did.

But you can find a shit-load of tunes at GT Planet! I found tunes for the '09 but not the '07. Would have saved some time, lol!

Beat the NASCAR seasonal first try today using these settings:

Transmission: 217mph

Suspension: Front Camber 2.5, Rear Camber 1.3

Max downforce

Driving Options:

TC: 2

Skid Recovery Force: On

All other aids off, except ABS at 1

Won by 7 seconds, could have been a lot more I had 3-4 off track moments so there is a lot of room to play. Of course knowing some of the track helps too. I have probably the first half memorized but the last half I basically just run with the driving line.


edit: Got the Gift Car ticket 1000 after the race, premium Z4 '03...I guess thats alright, at least it is premium.

That's what I figured. The thing with setups is that everyone drives differently. I just don't know how to start from scratch so I tweak ones I find.

I might have to look for the A-spec book on the net in PDF or the like.

But I'm not sure I'm gonna spend that $$$. If I can wear down the Lagano engine to the 850hp, then I might.
