His age plays into that though. Lets not act like Weeden is going to play till he's 43 just because he started at 28. Everyone knew when he was coming out he had 7-8 years tops in the league and that would be pushing it. He's got probably 6 years left maybe and he's not even begun to develop into a successful QB. There isn't a single HC in the league who's calling Cleveland asking for the chance to develop him only to have him play 3 years once he's actually developed. And that's if he develops in 3 years which is extremely fast for an NFL QB.
im not talking about how fast or how far he can develop. i simply stated he is young and can be developed...meaning he has little experience and can be developed. how much he can improve and how fast has nothing to do with what i was saying.
