Has an End Boss ever ruined a game for you?

It didnt ruin it, but it really disappointed me with Batman Arkham City

 
The fact that Hugo Strange was defeated in a cutscene without an actual fight was dumb as shit.

Years later I found out you can just walk over it and bad collision detecting got you through it. I fell through that goddamn hole several million times. No google back then. I must have bought the next 3 gamepros praying they'd show it in tips and tricks.

im familiar with the comics, So I Knew that there was sum1 else behind the scenes....A fight with Strange just wasnt going to happen...

it didnt bother me that much b/c I knew Strange wasnt the endgame...

then again I didnt even fathom Clayface being the end game...but there we are

Sonic II. I was awesome at the game, got to the final boss every time, and could barely dent him.

On AC II, there was a thief race that was damn near impossible, and it took me about a week of on and off trying to finally get it.

The second to last fight in Arkham Asylum was a pain (Joker was way too easy).
