On last nights show, the lead story was a 3-0 NFL Preseason game. They spent 7 minutes on highlights, complete with Herm Edwards breaking it down ("The Cowboys defense showed me something tonight!"). Preseason. Fake game. Breaking it down. 3-0. Seven minutes.
They then showed two baseball highlights, and the next seven stories were NFL related. Do you realize how deep you have to dig for seven NFL stories on August 13?
Sunday, with Rory McIlroy winning the PGA in dominant fashion, MLB pennant races, a NASCAR race, Team USA hoops winning gold, and Olympics all happening, the top story, once again, was fake football. A TD in a NFL exhibition.
