If the Wildcat formation is added in Madden 10..

Madden 09 was the start of Ian Cummings and from 08 to 09 he did a good job. He took out a countless number of glitches and when there was a glitch in 09 he took it out as soon as possible. Now that he has been the lead designer of 10 since the start he'll be able to do what he did last year making the game as least glitchy as possible and now he's taking it a step further by not only taking out glitches but actually making the game more sim. NFL Head Coach 09 was a great game and now the designers of that game are working on Madden 10 too. David Ortiz is out and a whole bunch of new designers are in and you can't say they aren't doing a great job. They started releasing information 4 months earlier than they did last year. Last year the first update was i think at the end of April. Have some optimism.

WHAT!!!! theres still glitches in the game. Last time i checked the qb walk is still in there. There is still the injury glitch bug and more. 09 improving from 08 was like saying 2 cents is better than one. Its so little that it almost doesnt matter. If thats the amount of improvement after every madden game then damn , i guess we waiting till madden 2098 till we see a actual good version.

I do love the announcments earlier tho , i just dont have a lot of faith as to how they will work till i see it before me.

That's what I've been saying.

I remember seeing videos of the "foot planting" technique. How you could see the difference between a linemen running and a RB. But yet linemen are able to RC.......

I remember the videos of how much better then O-linemen in 09 would be then the ones in 08. Yet I can place 3 D-linemen in coverage, take one, loop him around 5 O-linemen and get to the QB for an easy sack.

The Qb walk is still in there because they no longer care about 09. They are focusing on 10. Why take a glitch out of a game that will soon become old news and spend less time on the next game. Not sure what the injury glitch bug is.

In madden 08 there was the 3 man rush glitch, Spectacular catch glitch, Encroachment, also the glitch where you can get out of a game without win or loss (don't remember the name). Then of course the WR Double pass and the HB Pass glitches.

In Madden 09 their was WR Direct snap glitch and the glitch where every receiver would become wide open. Both of those were fixed really fast. I don't really remember much of any other glitches but yea they got some of those put out quick.


Also in last year's game there was about as much new improvements and inhancements as there already is in this game. There is still gonna be more improvements and features in Madden NFL 10. In Madden 09 their big features were Madden Moments and The Virtual Trainer thing. Both were terrible.

Last year there was "fall forward on the stick" were your hb fell 9yards forward on every tackle . No lt button (360) that suddenly made most qbs throws redicolously accurate and easy to rocket. Rocket curls at a tourney level is WORSE then the 08 spec catch . 4 curls when adding rockets is almost an unstoppble offense . Last year Man coverage was usuable (outs killed it tho but at least you could cover crosses) . Screens have become out of this world and Deep posts are a td every play unless you user a safety or get a sack.

Madden 08 blowed so bad. Saying there was improvements means nothing . It was near on impossible for 09 to suck less than 08. This year there is still the Fact of Fiction glitch (wrs all open) , Qb Walk glitch , DC glitch (get out without a loss) , Injury bug glitch (tottaly randome nobodys fault) , also certain times randomly after a touchback the game spots the ball on ur 30 instead of their 20.

So we have to sit through 5months (those of us who would like to continue playing) of this because there concentrating on their next in the long list of fuck ups? If i rated madden 08 a 1/10 , id rate 09 .... 3-4/10.... Im only playing it because I LOVE football and there is no competition out there availble to me. I like competition so i stay in leagues so im forced to put up with the screwed up crap ea gives me.

This year the fall forward on the stick animations by running backs gets u 3-5 yards every time almost. Zone d is unreal , man is un-usebale , i mean man sucked v outs on 08 but at least a god damn cross was coverable. Posts are tds every time unless you user a safety or get a sack. Playmakers are 90000000000 times easier. Oh and then theres screens , the most effective thing known to life. Screens like FL screen where u cant run man because they have a post and out on the other side so its a completion either way.

The thing EA still hasn't been able to do is bring over the features we loved from the PS2 days to Next Gen. Why did it take 4 years to finally allow me to assign defenders to a specific wr?

Not backing EA cause 09 was garbage to me but why do people keep saying "bring over". They have stated countless times that they couldn't bring over much, if any from PS2 days, which means they had to code the game from the ground up (at least that's what they want us to believe). May it took 4 years because they were focusing on other parts of the game before they started adding details that people were whining over like refs on the field, and field goal nets, etc. PS2 didnt have all the bells and whistles when it first game out either. I would assume that when/if PS4 drops they will be starting from scratch again.

I liked 09 for the most part.

The RC still sucks and the extra game modes are as crappy as ever. But in terms of the in game play it wasn't bad to me. There are still little things that are bad, like how LB's can jump 9 feet in any direction, how WR's/DB's can't catch balls after they're falling right next to them.

But for the most part I like the game. I'm gonna keep playing it until '10 comes out.

I agree....I think.

I like madden because of the competiveness of it, that's also the reason I got 2K9 this year. I love finding plays and stragetizing and then taking everything you know online and trying to beat someone with evertyhing you worked on. Just straight up your game vs theirs.

That's why I use to play a bunch of ranked games. Besides RaidersABC(PS3) or whatever his name is, I doubt too many people here have played more ranked games than I have.
But now I'm getting more into Leagues and I want to start going to real tourneys and the MC.
