For those who didnt know about this...

Back in August my nephew stuck pennies in my PS3 6 days before Madden 10 came out. So my PS3 is paper weight right now and I HAVENT played anything since then. However recently while with friends we play CoD4 and Street Fighter on 360. I am not buying a 360 or even considering it at this point.

I've done some research and I see that the slim comes in an 120GB and a 250GB. My question to you all is not 360 vs. PS3 it's the 120GB vs. 250GB. The prices goes from 299.99 to 349.99 so I'm wondering which one and why? like is there any advantages or disadvantages

Well if you do decide on getting a new one and you pick the 250gb. Call around your Targets, some of them have them on clearance for around $250.

Can you save money by buying the 120GB and then upgrading to 250GB yourself?

Short Answer? Yep.

IMO, you'd only get a 250 GB if you plan on using it as your primary entertainment machine.

Downloaded movies, DVDs, Blu-Rays, MP3s, etc. etc. etc.

Personally, I can't even fill my 120 and I own 7 games, multiple DLC and feature clips from PSN.
 
well my 120 is full.... and i bet if i had a 250 it would be full, the trick is to get an external hard drive...

backwards compatible? for serious what do you want for it i need me a backwards compatible ps3, or maybe i should just buy a ps2...

I did contact sony and they said my best bet was to unscrew it to get the pennies out... Mission complete but the when I was putting it back together the clamp that holds the flat blue wire from the disc drive broke on me. :pedro:

So no blue ray movies for me, no games, hell I even have to find a way to get my save game data off and to a working system

Seriously this stuff isn't rocket science. I'll give you $20 and you can have your hard drive out of it haha.
