When I was in college, my Sunday consisted of getting up early heading over to the sports book, then going to a sports bar.
Spent way too much money that way.
Its way to much and Im pretty sure Im going to cancel it and just have the Redzone channel. You can get that seperate right? Thats all I watch anyway on Gameday. I got the ticket back in the day to follow Emmitt when he went to Arizona but now theres not really any ex Cowboys I give a care about to watch a full game of them with another team.

I got out of the Sunday Ticket scam a few years ago. I learned that I can see all the best plays of the week on the NFL network or on the interwebs. At some point I realized that paying that much money for the same shit I was going to see on highlights with better commentary and expert opinions from coaches/players etc. etc. was better than the product I was paying for.
As is I record 5 games per weekend plus the Monday game all without the sunday ticket. Then I fast forward all the bullshit and when a game gets crappy I watch one of the other 130 shows I record a week. If that doesn't satisfy I watch something on netflix over my PS3. Or I fuck my wife after she gets home from buying candles and girly shit.
Also why would I care about what some shitty TV announcer has to say when I can come here and read what all you geniuses have to say.

as bad as the games were and as i was watching them on two computers and 1 TV, I found out last weekend when I was in Chicago just how much I love my Sunday Ticket. When I was in the hotel room(that charged for Internet) I was stuck watching the Bears and the Redskins at 1 and the Chargers vs the Pat's at 4, and that was it, just two games I didn't care about.
so no matter how bad the football is, I love being able to watch who I want when I want.

I actually remember this conversation. But we all saw what the new NFL rules were going to do to the league. I was most frustrated for all the HOF-level WRs we had through the last decade who actually had to know how to run routes to get open (Holt, Bruce, Harrison, etc. etc.) as these guys worked for every reception. Now in today's NFL average WRs only need to learn the skinny post, how to run the drag or short slant, and bubble screen because the NFL doesn't want defensive players to cover anybody anymore. Now the league is trying to make this a two-hand-touch league by limiting contact. With the new collective bargaining negotiations coming up the NFL is in serious jeopardy of losing connection with their fan-base here.

the rules have nothing to with it. Its the crappy play of young players who can neither tackle nor execute plays correctly because teams cant keep veterans long enough and have to put someone on the field.
minor theory of mine = alot of veterans are getting injured because rookie/young players around them dont know how to tackle or block. It may stating the obvious but its still a factor.
