Is anybody else a bit uneasy with all of the positive attention Ray Lewis is getting?

I see no problem whatsoever with people bringing up the murder cases when discussing Lewis. The only issue I take with it is when people bring it up on purpose to use it against Ray's character. If anything, Ray has been the model player for the league the past couple years.

View the same as Kobe's case, he's been the consistent model player and not a repeat offender.

For whatever reason, I'll never forget that Donte Stallworth killed an elderly man while driving. However, I'd never use that to make a case against him, he had his court date, I only know what I've read.

Didn't that man just walk out onto a busy road in the middle of the night in the rain and not in a cross walk? Somehow I can forgive an accident much quicker than forgiving MURDER. Now Ray Ray's involvement could be trying to cover up the MURDER and not really being directly involved in the MURDER. But between Ray Ray/friends and Donte, one was an accident, the other was MURDER.

except, the man he struck and killed darted out in front of him trying to run after a bus, not at a crosswalk, on a rainy Miami morning (roads are insanely slick after the morning rain) on the McArthur Causeway (right over water). The fact that Stallworth had an over the limit BAC just compounded the accident, but, an accident nonetheless.

Acquitted also =/= guilty. And, I am not sure what country you reside...perhaps, Iran, but here in the United States of America, you are innocent until proven guilty.

Whats your point? Your argument is that because a person is acquitted of charges than they did not do the crime (and similarly, the natural implication that a person found guilty did commit a crime). I do not believe this to be true. There are many examples where are court systems have gotten it wrong.

If I remember, it was poor weather conditions and the guy walked out onto a busy street nowhere near a crosswalk. I sure do consider that an accident (unintentional). The under the influence is against the law and Donte was punished for it. But it was still unintentional. And the guy who walked out onto the street is partially responsible for his own death.

My nigga, you have no idea what I am a staunch believer of, outside of Paul Heyman...but I am a firm believer that a man that wasn't convicted does not need his CHARGES following him around for the rest of his life, nevermind the Henrietta Housewife-like gossip of what you THINK really happened.

You can mention OJ until you are blue in the face from asphyxiation from some desperate craigslist whore getting feisty with you, but that doesn't mean a man needs to have his CHARGES being posted as the lead of his obituary.

As for Empire and Sven...aka your Susie Homemaker and Wendy Widow if you willlllll (say that in your best Dusty Rhodes voice)...can believe the gossip of ill-found facts of men free to walk the streets of the charges, much like yourself all you want, but, I don't have those female tendencies and it still doesn't make whatever fantasy story you want to believe, true and by proxy need to be stated in NEWS stories about people.
