He started about 6 games, and they turned the team over to Eli. He threw 6 TD's and 4 INT's. He didn't blow, he wasn't great, but he really didn't have any sort of body of work to even make a case for either.
Again, didn't Leinart have the same WR duo at his disposal?
And for that matter, didn't Jamie Martin, Scott Covington, & Ryan Fitzpatrick have the same HOF weapons in St Louis? All three of those guys started games for the Rams during the "Greatest Show" era. Wouldn't your stupid theory of simply plugging "90% of QB's" into a great system mean that these bums would have produced at the same level as Warner?
Let me ask you this, how old are you? Do you even remember watching the Rams from 99-01? Did you watch Warner stand in the pocket with empty backfields, and deliver precision passes while getting smacked in the mouth play after play, in a offensive system that demanded pinpoint accuracy and timing?
I don't even know why i'm debating this trash. He's gone to three SB's, won two MVP's, has a SB MVP, and throws for 300 yards in nearly half the games he starts (nobody else is even close). He's one of the most accurate passers of all time, and is clearly a winning player who has won many big games. He's not only a lock HOF'er, but one of the best of all time.
Get a fucking clue.
