I like 4 of those movies on that list.
I liked Joseph Gordon-Levitt in Inception more than Leo.
I liked Mark Wahlberg in The Departed more than Leo.
I liked Daniel Day Lewis in Gangs of New York more than Leo.
I liked Johnny Depp in Whats Eating Gilbert Grape more than Leo.

Ive never been a fan of Leo, he somehow manages to have a Boston accent in a lot of his movies and I was preprogrammed to hate Boston accents.

out of all of those hanks, penn and lewis have 2 oscars for best actor. Penn and Day Lewis were recent. I personally would take Crowe, but I cant argue against Leo because he has had alot more films and most of the films he has been in have been great

Sweeney Todd was overly graphic with its violence and the musical numbers completely took you out of the movie. It had potential to be a great revenge movie.

Good list, I'd throw Clooney in there, too, even though he plays himself in every movie.

IMO, Hanks is the best actor of a previous generation, he's practically hung up his acting shoes for less demanding roles. He ruled the 90's with Philadelphia, Forrest Gump, Cast Away and Saving Private Ryan (all Oscar nominated or victories) plus Apollo 13 The Green Mile. In the past decade, his only good roles have been Catch Me If You Can, Road to Perdition and Charlie Wilson's War.

Sean Penn's Oscars should have * next to them. He didn't deserve it two years ago (Mickey Rourke did) nor did he in 2003 (Bill Murray did). That doesn't take away from his great portrayals in those movies. Besides All The Kings Men (didn't see it but it got shit on by everyone from the critics to the average movie goer) and I Am Sam (never go full retard), he;s had a good decade.

Crowe FTW, he's up there.

Nick Cage? No fucking way. Dude is a joke. He's been shit in 10x more things than he's been good in.

Ed Norton needs to be mentioned. As does Philip Seymour Hoffman and Viggo Mortenson (underrated)

I do think Leos string of movies this decade were the best. ell two of my favorites of his, Body of Lies and Revolutionary Road are two of his worst RT scores.

Other actors this decade that were sweet were Gordon Levitts, Ed Norton, Damon, Bale, and Crowe. You cant go wrong with choosing either of them. The thing is Bale and Levitts only in the past 2-3 years started to get noticed. Before Batman and 500 Days of Summer, the general public and no idea who they were or how good their films had been.

Terminator on the other hand is underrated. Yes its crap(wtf are robots wearing bandannas for?) but the last 15 minutes felt like a terminator film.

Joseph Gordon Levitt is the best up and coming actor in the biz. He'll be an Oscar contender before we know it. He already won the indie world, why not the mainstream world?

It was alright. A bit overrated, but still good IMO. William Hurt was the fuckin baws in that movie, though.

Eastern Promises is a very underrated movie.

The one blemish is GI Joe. I was pumped to see it because Joes are are awesome and he was going to be the Commander, but they completely fucked his appearance. Anytime he was on screen I couldn't help but stare at his weird ass gas mask and bowl haircut.

I think the two of us are the only people in the world to see Leaves of Grass. Not your conventional movie, but I really enjoyed it. It shows you how versatile he truly is by playing two completely different characters who need to work off of one another. I think Norton was destroyed by the whole Incredible Hulk fiasco. It killed his rep and his confidence. He needs to get back on his 90's grind.

Good call on Gary Oldman. Probably one of my favorite villain actors of all time. And then boom he throws us a curveball and absolutely kills it as a good guy in Nolan's Batman movies.

I remember looking forward to it and planned on seeing when it came out, but never hearing about it again until a few months ago haha, in my queue now though.

I've honestly liked all of his movies besides Bram Stoker's Dracula. And I think that had a lot more to do with Coppola's direction (about 20 years past his prime) and Keanu Reeves' unidentifiable accent. I watched in a week ago and couldn't wait to see all the terrible reviews that it had gotten back in it's day. To my horror the movie received critical acclaim.

I've honestly never seen it before. Gary Oldman in True Romance is just awesome. Pure awesome.
