AP - Minneapolis, MN - Cleveland continues to dominate. In an offensive effort they rid themselves of another series with the Twins and captured a 2-1 series victory. The Tribe's red hot streaks, and failure to lose have propelled them this season. It's almost like the state of Ohio has another unbeatable team. (See: 2007 Ohio State Buckeyes).
Unlike the Buckeyes though, The Indians are looking to show a better post-season run. They continue to dominate their division and have a winning record against all teams in the AL Central. This of course will change gears as they host the AL West in upcoming games. The AL West has dominated the Indians as of late.
As the season progresses we're getting ever so closer to August and Manager Eric Wedge, who played all three of his bench men today, can't wait. "We need the full roster, the season is coming to a close and these guys need rest." This relief will come in the form of the Clippers and Aeros players that can be apart of the full 40 man roster when their seasons come to a close.
The Indians are looking to continue their winning ways as they draw closer to a 100 win season. Something this franchise hasn't done since 1995, when they went 100-44. That year they lost to the Atlanta Braves in the World Series. The Indians will try to get back to the World Series, and this team is looking more capable of that as time goes on. That is something they haven't done since 1997.
