I wonder if the Falcons will try to sign Flacco this offseason. Watching the NFC Championship game, QB is clearly their weakspot. Signing Flacco, might be the thing that gets them over the hump and into the Super Bowl.

Matt Ryan is an okay quarterback I guess. But he isn't clutch.

Joe Flacco is an all time great, and future Hall of Famer. The stats don't lie, his Playoff record is amazing.

Needs a little more on his resume, but not much. A second Super Bowl appearance playing like his has in the playoffs clearly secures the "elite" tag.

Brees' spot is a bit iffy, coming off 2012, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Stats and awards don't tell the entire story...you have to watch these guys to fully judge them, and too many of the casual fans and media want to throw around the "elite" label too loosely.

Yes his postseason run was impressive. So was Eli's in 2007, no one was calling him elite (and he wasn't). I wanna see him be much more consistent in the regular season and have him be what carries the offense before you talk about him being anywhere near the elite four of Brady, Manning, Rodgers, and Brees. Being on a winning team doesn't make you an elite quarterback. I definitely think he locked himself into a spot in the top 10 as he was a fringe top 10 guy going into this year IMO.

But here's the thing - Flacco keeps making the playoffs. Every friggin' year, including last year where he would have made the Super Bowl if Lee Evans holds on to that ball. Evans dropped an easier ball than David Tyree.
