game froze when I was replaying the "marriage Made in Heaven" case, upset with how I did some things, so when I went to call to get the license plate info, game froze, :smh:

Yeah, which version are you playing? I didn't have any problems with that mission, or any other for that matter, on PS3.

yeah I am loving the set up of the game. Each mission is like a tv episode. I love how when your done with a case they tell you could have done this to find something else out. really well don't so far. Love the stories and watching the people lie or tell truth. I am also having trouble when to call them out but thats part of it.

I have a feeling I am going to finish this game rather quickly as I will not be able to put it down.

PS I love just making my partner drive everywhere....the car controls are a bit twitchy.

I fucking love this game. Even though I'm still having some issues trying to figure out when I should accuse or call someone a flat out liar.

The fact that I was the only one at midnight at Walmart for this game kinda surprised me. But then again that's why I go there. I'm in and out, no BS.

But this is my favorite campaign/story mode I have ever played. I absolutely love it.

So are you guys driving to the destinations or letting your partner? I've been letting my partner handle it mostly. Don't seem interested in side missions until I am done with the story.

With seeing if they tell the truth or not:

 

Think of it as like a "tell" in Poker.

As far as the early missions go (I'm now on the 3rd Traffic Division case after getting 5 Stars on "A Marriage Made In Heaven"... not easy.), you can always see if they're lying by the way they look at you.

If they're staring straight at you, they're most likely not lying to you.

If you have evidence (names on a receipt, eyewitness accounts, gun records in a person's name) on a perp, you can say they're lying to you.

Any other time, use the "Doubt" button or bust out an Intuition Point and the game will knock out a wrong question so you'll have a 50-50 shot.

To be more specific, if they start looking off to the side or in special cases, if they start developing nervous tics (moving arms, etc.), then hit the "Doubt" button.

Also, with Rockstar Social Club, you can just go with what a majority of other people did if you get stuck.

i been doing street missions. i always drive. my partner always hops in the passenger seat even if i try to let him drive.

i still cant figure out how to change the station or shut off the radio in the car...any help?

Ask far as monkeying around with the radio, I don't know how to change the station.

At best, just hit Pause, go to Sound and turn the Music slider all the way down.

Not true, they still show up on your map before anything comes over the radio. You can even mark them and have your partner drive you. :smug:

Not much buzz about this game for some reason. When I went at midnight last night to Walmart I got there at like 12:10 and the guy was just opening up the box when I walked up...do people not like going to Walmart for midnight releases?

Wal-Mart can be a popular midnight release spot depending on where you live. I went to Wal-Mart for the Black-Ops midnight release and the light was pretty long there. Would have been even longer if there wasn't a Gamestop down the street.

Nope, me either. There is also something else in the stats, movie reels I believe, that you can find. 50 of them I think. The only thing I have found are a few of the "hidden cars".

I would imagine if Walmart is the only store that seels games for miles, then yeah, it would be more popular. But in the areas around here everyone goes to GS and Best Buy primarily.

this happens if you skip investigating or searching a place and go straight to interrogating or chasing after the suspect
