Instead of a regular season they should just do a massive playoff tournament with all teams seeded in their order of finishing last year. Every round a best of 3 until you get down to the quarterfinals
These retarded fucks. I'm more pissed off today knowing they got a deal done, than I would be if they reached the 11th deadline and announced no season. They're killing the whole sport for the casual fans, which is the main measure of success in North American sports. I'm still gonna watch this year, begrudgingly. But this damn league takes two steps forward and 35,000 backwards. It's hard to imagine them being any worse off than after the first lockout when they were lucky to get a deal with Versus, which was even smaller at the time. But damnit they're sure trying to beat that low-water mark now.

I have to call DTV to unsubscribe to Center Ice this year. I got NBA League Pass because I didn't think they would reach an agreement, so I don't want my bill to be any higher. My issues are this:
1. Blackouts will hit me bad. The only leaf games I'll get is saturdays since games on the other networks will be blacked out on center ice ect.
2. Streaming means more money. I already pay a shit ton for internet and with the caps in place I am constantly going over just based off normal usage.
3. Playoffs are an issue since random blackouts happen constantly.

If it's nationally televised in Canada, it's blacked out, which means all playoff games. Already been down that road with them. Seems like you have no choice.
My cap is 125GB and that easily gets eaten up with 3 guys using netflix and watching hours of youtube. I've manage to stop people from torrenting since its retarded anyways.
