And that isn't news. EA has been doing that since the Genesis days. The worst part is that sometimes they will remove a feature only to bring it back a few years later and tout it as new.

Game play is obviously number one, but presentation can not be ignored. Like Dave said, they've had six years and their presentation still can't hold a candle to 2K5 which is fucking pathetic. Also, why the fuck did they buy the ESPN license if they aren't going to fucking use it fully?

Well they used the ESPN license in the NCAA football game.

I dont use "tone down" the same way I would use "dumb down."

This never existed in Madden 10. Theres a few animations that allow for 2-3 men tackles(that aren't pro-tak), but they're not dynamic or physics based like they should be, nor do they frequently occur.

IDK, pro-tak was interpreted the wrong way if you asked me. When we heard "it will allow for 8 man gang tackles" we all thought of millions of different scenarios where we would see large numbers in gang tackles. But it essentially was limited to the rugby scrum. Which is cool in the right situations. But no way does that happen as much as it does in NCAA and Madden.

Try a few games with the two on, than try a few with the two off. You will notice a huge difference.

I was playing on All-Pro and he was doing the same thing.

blah to all the whining... the game feels good, the control is nice, the passes have an arc to them, the sidelines and back of the endzone catches are excellent... this is still madden... if you don't like this years game, you never liked the game...

I cant get used to the fucking strategy pad. The game would be great if I didnt feel lost before each snap. I hate this shit.

Im actually use to it now except for the occasional hiccups where the pad lags for a second and I end up doing something I didn't mean to b/c of how fast you have to be when your clicking the pad like left(to open) left to pick my D-line and then wherever i want them to shift

(occasionally the pad will lag when coming up and if your doing it by memory and not really looking at the pad you could be doing something completely differnt than what you intended)

Hope thats fixed before the release or if people who d/l the game already know post it here

the pad sucks on the 360 version... i didn't bother downloading the demo on ps3 yet but i'm sure it sucks on that too.. the d-pad on the 360 controller blows anyway and having to do anything but navigate menus on the thing is fucking retarded... i read there will be a post-launch patch that lets you go back to the old controls, so i have my fingers crossed for this..
