played it all night with a bunch of friends. I think it's a good game, of course it's not perfect, no madden ever will be. The main difference i can say is that if you have played FIFA, that is exactly how the players move. It's a little bit delayed but it's way more realistic.
Biggest downfall of the year is the audible system. I understand this may be a quicker system but it sucks because everyone who plays madden has the preplay controls down on pat. The new system is awkward to hot route in my opinion. In the end though, I don't think this will be a problem once you play more and learn the buttons.
What I see as a possible problem: The long ball. It's ridiculous if you drop back in any type of prevent d like 3-3-5, 2 man under anything with the safeties shaded to the sides, your defense will still get torched at times..
Overall: I think it has the most realistic gameplay for madden yet. However, it's gonna be awkward and many people are gonna be uncertain about whether they like it at first. After playing about 8 games and watching another 6 or so, I can say it's a lot of fun. One of my favorite parts is that EA literally puts you in the game. The opening intro to every game is sick as fuck and gets me pumped up to play. It will show cut scenes in the locker room to getting off the bus and warmups. The stadium sounds and cheers are dead on. "Go Pack Go" always plays at lambeau.. At Cardinals Stadium they play woohoo after they score. Shit like that.
If you have any overall gameplay questions ask away. Don't bother asking me to check ratings, hand towels, franchise cap for year 5, or some other bullshit question.
