thats because the bears o line has sucked the past couple of years. my experiences in the run game are fair. your line is good...you will be able to run the ball. i had success running the ball with the bears earlier, but that was later in the game. on the other hand, running the ball with the bills vs the lions was impossible despite having 3 good tailbacks in jackson, lynch, and spiller. ratings actually matter and come into play.

Oh, I know. But averaging 1.2 yards is totally unacceptable. It had nothing to do with holes not opening up but everything to do with liebeman coming through untouched into the backfield...nearly EVERY play. And it didn't help that IRL they weren't taking any heat off the running game because Cutler was throwing pickles left and right. But how did the developers know that before last years season even started?

Great. After reading his impressions I have a feeling I won't be able to run the ball again. Not cool.

The video he shows regarding the blown block (Ravens vs Dolphins) is exactly what would happen to me play after play in the last two years of the game.

I'm alos pretty disappointed in the Gus Johnson commentary in the Bears vs Packers vid. He gets a bit excited on an INT yet when Rodgers hits a wide open receiver on a streak for a 60+ yard TD there is no excitement from him at all. WTF?

From Pasta's read it looks like you're either going to get the game to play with your friends (e-buddies or real life) OR you're waiting in vain for a better EA football product.

Do pass interference/illegal contact/qb late hit penalities exist in this game?

Is franchise mode worth playing?

How retarded is the computer on this game. I watched the Pastapadre video and saw the Bears punt the ball to the Packers right before halftime. The clock was running, there was more time on the play clock than game clock and the Packers had 0 timeouts. Does the CPU do dumb shit like that regularly?

I've got a feeling I'll pick this game up randomly at some point. I'm not expecting very much so I wonder if that will change how I feel about it. As long as franchise mode is playable than I'll probably get it.

Its alright. I havent played that much, but when i did play it was solid. Not overly impressive though. Feels like madden 10.5. Gameplay wise, it isnt a huge leap from madden 10

I actually tried the line adjustments thing and I don't remember them working either. I remember trying everything people told me and nothing ever seemed to work.

Also, I think someone else in this thread said the 360 version is "smooth as butter" while the ps3 version has hiccups. Yet in the Game Trailers video which uses the 360 version I saw the game stutter/hiccup a few times.

What about the Madden moments? I see they are back but do they still use current players? I always thought that was fucking retarded playing a moment from 1990 or something but using the current teams rosters.

It may have been me that said the game on 360 played smooth as butter. We had two systems set up, one PS3 and one 360 and me being an avid PS3 fan preferred playing the game on the 360. Everything seemed much more responsive.

I'm pretty sure the madden moments is the same way as always. They have "live" madden moments where they'll update them during the season. Pretty neat but I really rarely use it.

I actually found my answer about the Madden Moments shortly after posting. Shipwreck from CAG reviewed the game and mentioned that they still use the current rosters. Lame.

I heard the halftime show is gone...if you want to call it a show. I'm surprised they didn't build on it (add audio) and just took it out. I expect it back next year as a bullet point. What does it have (if anything) now....just the list of options like in NCAA FB 11?

I'm not surprised by that, it was the same thing in Madden 10.
EA Sports games simply play and look better on the 360 because that's the console they're designed on.

I think it had to do with the console launches, actually.
They got their hands on a 360 long before a PS3 ... and the PS3 is more difficult to program for.
I think it's more a question of resources, than laziness.
