Cotto by decision..... i think he wears Pac down as the fight progress... Cottto can be a great body puncher and he will need to be in this fight......
 
I love Pacman, one of my favarites to watch, but I think Cotto wins this

If this was before the Margarito fight I would have picked Cotto easily, hasnt been as fast since than, but I still think he beats Manny, should be a good fight no matter what though
 
All I've heard about is Pacquiao, Pacquiao, Pacquiao. Little if anything on Cotto.

Cotto steals this one.
 
If Cotto wins, there goes the $2 million+ a Pacquiao/Mayweather fight could do if it were to ever happen.
 
wow i thought i would be the only person picking Cotto, I just think that there is too much going on in the Pacman camp right now he doesn't seem ready for this fight, there is no question that Freddie Roach is going to have him prepared to the best of his abilities but in the end its Pacquiao that has to go out there and do it, and I think this time he comes up short, however won't be suprised if I am wrong
 
I just feel Cotto got a bad rap with that loss to AM...that's his ONLY loss...this is the beginning of COTTO's rise...I see a decision for Cotto.

According to Top Rank vice president, Todd duBoef, Santiago then told Roach, "One-hundred-and-forty-five-pounds [a******]" as he emphatically continued to gesture at his own fighter and the scale.

Roach, apparently incensed, turned and pursued Santos across the stage.

"I'm watching Miguel Cotto make weight, and then he makes weight, and then Santiago says, '145-a******.' And I said, 'That's how much he's supposed to weigh, and don't call me an a******, or I'll [expletive] kick your a**,'" Roach told FanHouse after watching an exclusive FanHouse video.

"And then, Miguel starts staring at me, and I said 'What are the [expletive] you looking at?' And I decided to calm down a little bit, because the last time I hit somebody, it was a Kinko's, and I got sued," said Roach.

"But when somebody calls me an a******, I'm not going to just keep my mouth shut," said Roach. "I mean, 145? That's what he's supposed to weigh."

Ah Freddy Roach you so crazy!!

I love Pac Man as well but my gut says Cotto wins this one. He's too big, too strong, and too good of a boxer. He can and will hurt Pac, especially if he can get him on the ropes.

I think it will be a great fight and a close one.

The only thing would surprise me in this fight is if Pac knocks Cotto out. Other than that I can see anything happening.
 
Mosley went 12 rounds with Cotto in a fight some people thought Mosley should have been given the decision. Clottey also went the full 12 against him in a SD and gave Cotto some serious problems in a handful of rounds. Then you have the Margarito fight, which I guess shouldn't be taken into consideration, but FWIW Cotto never came close to a KO in that fight either as far I remember. But, again I'm not going to put much weight on that one.

On the other hand Pac has destroyed more top caliber opponents, he's more battle tested, hes been on the big stage, he's the more technical fighter, and most importantly he has Freddie Roach in his corner. The type of clean shots that he let Clottey and Mosley land against him will spell disaster for Cotto against Manny. So Pac by KO near the final rounds.
