Manny was better than I gave him credit for tonight but I'm still struggling to see him beating Floyd . Cotto was actually doing well when he tried to keep his boxing together and land scoring shots but then all of a sudden the red mist would come down and his over attacking style would kill him . I could see Mayweather landing those shots and then getting out and away from Mannys punches thus leading to a points win

I no longer have any question about Pacman's speed, power, or chin at 145. Cotto showed speed early which threw Pacquiao off early but Cotto couldn't keep that up, Floyd would be the fastest fighter he ever faced, the toughest defense he had ever faced to go with a guy who has fought as high as 150. I just don't think Pacman could catch PBF enough to beat him, but man that will be a huge fight that everyone will want to see

Depends really

He's still good enough to be a world champion but he will never get the "big fight" again

I predicted Cotto to win because of the size difference and away from the ring issues going on . Last time Manny came into a fight with big distractions it was ugly . (2nd Marquez fight which most people say JMM won)

PacMan just edges Cotto out at every aspect of the game, but he fought hard and he'll be back. He didn't lose any fans tonight. I wouldn't mind seeing a Mosley/Cotto rematch personally.

I'm a pinoy, so that is why i'm a pacquiao fan. So let me get the whole bandwagon stereotype out the window.

Personally when watching the match, I thought aside from round 1. Cotto took a ass woopin' in every round. Pacquiao's footwork can only be matched by maybe PBF. His lead jab is so nice and when he pressured Cotto (starting in the 2nd) it was lights out.

It was a good fight...Cotto got in trouble in the 2nd...he had a lot of momentum from the 1st but he got into a war with Pacman and what he failed to do was protect himself when he wasn't punching...it seemed Pacman nailed him tons of times after Cotto wouild unleash a flurry of punches.

Cotto fought alright to last that long...everytime Pacman kept fighting back, Cotto would at least move, defend himself. He had a better chance boxing Pacman, hitting him with jabs, then moving in and around the ring, which fans hated during the latter stages of the fight but at that time, he was just trying to finish the fight.

I think Cotto is done though...Margarito did something to him...I don't feel he's the same fighter. Pacman just added on...I really don't see who he can beat to get back to the top of this division...I likely won't be thinking he'd win against the Mosely's, etc of the world.

Smarter game plan? Cotto was lucky to win all of TWO ROUNDS.. he was flat out out classed and out boxed. Manny is the baddest man on the planet right now wearing boxing gloves, no two ways about it. Floyd is scared his legacy is going to get ruined by an Asian dude.

He fights to win . Winning on points is a part of the sport .... and he is currently the best at it . Not everybody has to fight like a fucking bull for 12rounds straight going for a knockout
