lol, but he beat all the best fighters who were in his weight class, so he dominated his weight class for years, you are knocking him for not fighting big named guys, name big name guys who were fighting at 168 that he ducked, the only thing you can say is that he didn't move up to 175 to fight a guy like Jones in his Prime, or down to 160 to fight B-Hop in his prime. but you can't argue against the fact that he dominated his weight class for years.

Well why not if he was so dominant in his nobody weight class? Because he and his slapping would have been found out against a higher calibre of opponent. He can say he's 44-0 all he wants, but anyone who knows anything about boxing knows that is probably the most cushioned, "undefeated" (I think Hopkins won) record of all time.

He also refused a rematch with Hopkins (after Hopkins had offered to take the fight in Wales) and turned down the opportunity to fight Kelly Pavlik.

here is the point again because you missed it, you can say anything you want about Calzaghe ducking guys who aren't in his weight class i think it was clear, but it doesn't take away from the fact that the statement was made that he dominated his weight class for years which he did. also again pointing out his refusal to fight B-Hop again is beside the point because he already beat him, and as far as refusing a fight with Pavlik, #1 Pavlik was coming up from 160 so if you want to get technical whatever, but even then if he had fought him and lost you still couldn't argue against the fact that he dominated 168 for years.
