Nothing shady about Canseco. He's the most honest man in baseball. I believe every word in that book. Little by little, all of it ends up being confirmed.

Canseco also said that 60-70 percent of players were on steroids. If we are going to believe everything Canseco says, then why is McGwire the outcast when the majority of players were using?

Oh hell no. Screw LaRussa, he may be the biggest enabler in this entire steroid thing. The fact that his "steroid legacy" goes from 1988 to as far as we know 1998 and most likely well beyond it (Ludwick, Ankiel)

'Shady' meaning Canseco's not exactly an upstanding citizen himself. We all know his motives.

McGwire is full of crap when he says that... for one, most of the injuries he described are typically injuries that come from a steroid cycle. So he was taking steroids to recover from injuries that were as a result of steroids.... idiot.

As far as Griffey. Who knows. I'm not entirely positive he was clean. I'm about 60% sure he WAS. But you just never know. I'm not really sure about any of the sluggers in the 90s outside of Frank Thomas. Thomas, not because of personal bias, but because he was vocal about steroid testing as far back as 1996-1997.
