Found a really useful save editor on the Bioware forums for ME2.

Was able to start a new game in ME2, then edit in all the ME1 decisions like: making Wrex/the council still alive, making Liara the love interest, etc. In my other ME1 save I had killed Wrex, killed the council too. Saves me from having to go back and play ME1 again.

Now going thru as an sentinel on insanity. Have no clue who to use for my squad.

Think I'm gonna do some mining and N7 side missions for the hell of it. I know there are like 20 of them total. Still have to do the Shadow Broker mission and Arrival, but I want to wait on the latter another week or two. Might do the Shadow Broker tonight.

I got the impression he meant more just to get the results of ME1's "big decisions" more quickly, but I could be wrong.

Either way, there are enough smaller moments that you see play out as "your Shep" that it would be more than worth it to give the game a go.

Either way, there are enough smaller moments that you see play out as "your Shep" that it would be more than worth it to give the game a go.

You can edit every decision that carries over. From love interests, to the rachni queen to stuff like Conrad Verner and whether or not you punched the reporter on the citadel in the face.

Can also mod appearance, unlock a bunch of hats/visors/hairstyles you can't normally get. Edit anything about your player, change class/gender/whatever midway through a game.

Already played through ME1 twice, can't really be assed to go re-repurchase it and spend 20+ hours on it again. And f buying DLC for something I can do free.

For vanguards how do you use Nova correctly? Run up to someone, do it, then charge to build your barrier back up? Doesn't seem very effective.

I only used it in emergency situations.

I enjoyed my Vanguard in ME1 MUCH more than in ME2. Vanguard was my least favorite class in 2, of what I played.

My most fun playthrough was actually my Insanity run as a Soldier. That class is so ridiculously overpowered with Adrenaline Rush. I couldn't imagine playing on normal with that.

Trying to decide if its worth it to return my pre-order and get the ME3 online that comes with a free copy of BF3.
