According to FrontTowardsGamer, an source from EA has given the skinny on an upcoming DLC update:

The “Rebellion” Multiplayer Expansion opens two new fronts against the Reapers: Firebase Jade’s jungle reservoir and Firebase Goddess on Thessia. In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons as well as equipment, consumables, and six new classes: Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, Phoenix Adept and Vanguard.

Included are two new maps: “Firebase Jade’s” jungle reservoir & Firebase Goddess on Thessia

Only thing different about the news is the source(s) and who officially spilled the beans.

While it's cool that they're fleshing out the MP even further, they need to finish up that Extended Ending before everyone stops giving a shit about this game during the Fall season.

I wouldn't say it got old for me as I still find it fun, but there's no real incentive for me to play it until more DLC (story or multiplayer) is released or I try another story run.
 
Just finished up ME3 for the first time.

 
The ending could have been better. I ended up destroying the Reapers but didn't have a high enough effective military score so Shepard died and so did Earth. I figured I was going to have to kill more Reaper forces after I went up the beams to the Citadel.
