I despise the multiplayer of CoD. Just like Swarley has said, all the perks in that game are stupid as fuck and I also don't like how twitch it is. The campaigns are usually entertaining even if they are like popcorn flicks. This game still has all of the bombastic events of the CoD campaigns but with a story rooted in reality. I'm not sure how many more times I need to say it or why it's so difficult to understand?

So a popcorn flick game is worth $60? Even if you used coupons or whatever for it, you are still spending $60 for the game in some way, shape or form.

I have to say, after watching the full playthrough the story feels really cheap. I get what they're going after, trying to honor soldiers and their families (wives especially), but by the end I was really annoyed with how heavy-handed it was. The end sequence is especially stupid, with a really wordy diatribe about the lives of military men. I can appreciate what they were attempting to accomplish with Warfighter, but I can't help but be annoyed at the execution.

And Linkin Park? Fucking yuck.

The bottom line is that, based on what I've played thus far, this game is as good if not slightly better than the last MoH game. Yet somehow that game has a 74 (Xbox) and 75 (PS3) on Metacritic and somehow this game is in the 50s. It just doesn't make any sense.

I've always compared games with movies. A movie is about 2 hours and about $10 a trip. So, whatever game I'm getting has to somehow beat $5 an hour.

Mass Effect 3 has probably garnered about 5 cents an hour due to how much I've played it.

The amount of times you complain about the cost for a game, I didn't think you would enjoy this one. Shorter campaign, cookie-cutter multiplayer that you have no interest in, so it's a surprise. I'm not trying to start shit about it.

All I've heard so far is complaints about the copy cat storyline and feel to Call Of Duty in which people claim to enjoy so why hate? Hating on the Linkin Park music and the same controls as CoD/BF3. Firstly I think having similar controls is a good thing and it's common sense really, you can get quickly acclimated to the controls. Would you like PS1 shooter controls where you have to press X to shoot? Didn't think so. If it were any other way in terms of the controls people would bitch that the controls are along the lines of "ancient".

Secondly, for everyone who says this game is a action driven game with a bunch of booms and explosions, sure,that's correct, but how is that any different from any call of duty game? Or a lot of shooter games for that matter.

Seems like a lot of hate and nitpicking too me.

I personally could care less about shooter campaigns cause I think they're usually glorified anyways. I buy them to enjoy the online experience with friends. So if it's good in that aspect I'll buy it.

Don't compare every shooter to CoD/BF3. There is more than two shooters around.

With that being said I barely played so I don't have much opinions, nor will I jump on reviews that websites such as GS or IGN have made, I only played a few minutes at my friends house on his 360 during the beta and I found that it felt a bit like Far Cry 3 actually.

i played over 2 hours of a 4 hour campaign. so yeah....and i am glad you are complaining about the reviews. maybe if you had some basis for your opinion it might matter. but in reality your opinion never matters and is just a good excuse to make you look stupid

I found that it's not just a copy of CoD. It's a mixture of a few games. Obviously Battlefield as it uses their engine and a little of Far Cry 3 actually.

I don't respect CoD as a company, making fortunes of the same game with little innovation. It's the same game skeleton with a new skin. I understand the saying "if it aint broke than don't fix it" but there is plenty wrong with the game. So if I'm gonna fork out $60 I'd rather give it to a game more deserving I guess. Plus the next Black Ops II looks like shit anyways. I loved/hated them all the way up until Black Ops.

Call of Duty isn't a company, it's a franchise. And while some people certainly don't like it, sales don't lie- it is a popular game. I do prefer Battlefield 3 to Call of Duty right now, but to say that MOH is something that can stand on its own is grasping for straws. Online and the thoughts posted by members here essentially sum that up.

That ios a great review and I agree with it it, although it's only for the multiplayer.

Honestly, based on what I've played, this game is at least a 7/10. These ultra low scores are just laughable. Is a 7/10 with multiplayer that your friends may or may not enjoy, worth $60 to you? That's entirely up to you.

What is that based off of, more internet speculation? I honestly have no idea how long the campaign is but I've already been playing it over three hours on Normal, and based on the campaign trophies for the game I have quite a ways to go.

That's not terrible IMO and what I was expecting. Four hours is way too short though. I think MW2 was only like 3 or 4 hours and that was a joke.

Eh, I think it was a bit longer than that. I picked up Homefront from a clearance bin for $10, and that was a legit four hours.
